Man this song has so many great ear worms, it’s a a Sonic masterpiece for introducing every nuanced electronic element one at a time. I’ve honestly listened to the long version of it in my car on repeat for literally the whole entire night when underground parties were on the DL and you were supposed to go to a specific map point where they gave you the map and location. (No gps at the time). And then the place could be like another 2 hours away, but somehow the whole thing was just like an adventure.
RIP Denise Johnson and Andrew Weatherall. Both gone to soon, at 56.
Weatherall was for Primal Scream what George Martin was for The Beatles: arranger, composer, irreplaceable.
