Russian dancers in Ohio Ensemble Barynya performs Russian dance Kalinka St.George Festival Loveland

On Saturday, September 14th, 2024 from 11am to 10pm dancers, singers, and musicians of ensemble Barynya - dancer Victoria Lazareva, dancer Tara Kuhl, dancer/singer Valentina Kvasova, Elina Karokhina ( balalaika ), and Mikhail Smirnov (artistic director, garmoshka, guitar, vocals) performed five shows during annual St. George Festival on the grounds of St. George Russian Orthodox Church in Loveland, Ohio. Ensemble Barynya shows: 12-1pm, 1:30-2pm, 2:30-3:30pm, 5:30-6pm, 7-8pm. 8-9pm discoteca. Musicians Elina and Mikhail played mix of world music with short introductions of each number. Dancers performed many dance routines (Russian, Tatar, Gypsy, Ukrainian, Irish, Moldavian) in different sets of beautiful stage costumes. Ensemble Barynya also provided MC services and background music as well as music for dancing in the end of the festival.
