  • This is what May looks like on the Farm! We picked a beautiful day to film, but very little went to plan...
After 25 weeks of living indoors, Sarah, the newborn calves, cows and bulls can't wait to get outside. 'Outside' spells a change in jobs - no more feeding, no more littering - an exciting change for Sarah. But it seems that with the sun and heat, it's all gotten a little too much for some the animals...and the humans.
We'll be telling Sarah your questions and feedback, so we’d love to hear from you in the comments section! For Email updates, subscribe: talktoflank.com/british-farming/

I am educating my daughter at home during the pandemic. We came across your June video when doing a topic on farming and were hooked. I must say that we have loved every single one. I'm a city girl, born and bred, but the videos brought tears to my eyes... there's something wholesome about them. Thank you so much.

Another great vid by you lads. I’m in west Wycombe Bucks with a small woodland near Speen and was wondering where the farm is.
Keep up the fascinating vids and all power to Mum!

    Hi Ru and family,
Great videos you’ve made here. It’s wonderful to see how much passion, love and care your mum puts into the farm. Truly amazing.
I have a question though, I hope it’s not too personal. But why haven’t we seen anything of your dad/mother’s husband? Will this be something I see throughout the rest of the years videos?
I look forward to watching the rest of the 7 months! Thanks again!

Hey Aaron, it's not personal at all - and I love the question. It's not something I ever thought to answer myself through the videos, so I'm glad you've brought it up.
My dad isn't the farmer, which is the reason he's not heavily featured. My mum relies on his support, but typically works on her own. So although my dad is a big part of the agriculture himself, his day job isn't this farm. Not to mention - I'm not sure he loves the cameras too much :)
You can see him in the First Christmas video (delivering the gate), and also a few times since if you look closely enough.
      Thanks for your support! Ru

I love farm live, so by now I have seen five or more of your videos. I will allow me to be a bit cheeky and suggest you to check your infrastructure to be more animal friendly. I don't mean that the current one represent any danger for the animals, but it doesn't help you to go smooth through different tasks involving the animals. I am sure there is way to use the existing infrastructure in a better way, (much more effortless for the people and lest stressful for the animals).

Why do you need to ride a noisy ATV, British farms aren't that huge, you can walk.

Gordon Bricker She has pastured animals on 150 Acres and works from sun up to down. She also takes 100's of lbs of supplemental feed, lambing kits, etc to those animals. ...is she to haul it on her back - carried across a 10 acre field in rain, snow, hot sun?. Ridiculous comment.
