I'm a huge fan of metal and played bass guitar for a metal band in India during my college days. Never heard of this band but it was kick@$$! They took the "dance" scene from a South Indian horror movie. I would give them an A+
Nagavalli the devil who was an excellent classical dancer but was forced to be the official prostitute for a demented king... She was already torn without getting the least humanity she deserves let alone some respect for the divine art she had so painfully mastered... But, just when she thought this is it, suddenly a master dancer enters her life and both fall in love... The demented king finds out and kills her man first, makes her watch and then proceeds to kill her... She desperate for revenge becomes a devil haunting the palace... Now, cut to today's world a wealthy newly married couple buys the King's old palace and the wife gets possessed and all hell breaks lose but her husband's friend an expert psychiatrist with the help of an exorcist end up saving her... This song is named and dedicated for that epic character... I'm sure lyrics and visuals will make more sense now. 😊
I would sugg south Indian music than others because other metal bands are like any other metal band from West whereas south Indian metal bands tend to add a classical music influence to it as well
The scenes in the video are taken from a Malayalam movie, (South Indian) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/ManichitrathazAll the actors have given incredible performances. And TDT are one of my favorite Indian metal bands. Definitely check out Shiva. One of the few bands in India to successfully incorporate South Indian Carnatic style sound in a heavy groove metal song.
Hey Prof there are many Great Metal bands out there in India like Sceptre, Kryptos and Demonic Resurrection- You should check them out- Heavy Metal Forever 🤘🏻🤘🏻
three chears to the guy who requested this..this is my top song in my phone..the starting riff reminds me a lot of pantera..btw the story behind that haunted women dancer..there was a bollywood movie made on that. called bhul bhulaiya..starring akshay kumar..you should defintetly check that out...thanks
thats a good song as well..but the problem with indian heavy metal bands is the lack of producing more albums..this band hasnt produced an album for so many years..they only made 1 album...and this is the case for so many heavy metal bands in india..i dont know y thats the case...
Anirudh De I read somewhere they had another album. my issue is getting hold of one. even flipkart (indian ebay) doesn't have any for sale. I would love to see what India would bring to the table as in the terms of folk metal. I mean China and Mongolia has done so already now India must do the same
Hey professor check these bands out too MotherJane ruclips.net/video/Fe0OaLv6e0M/видео.html Avial: ruclips.net/video/ISqhTrll5lg/видео.html Coincidentally all 3 bands from the same state ie Kerala with MotherJane being the progenitor of the "Carnatic guitar". The best Metal scene by far in India!
