- Reupload of my CDJ-200 demonstration video, originaly released in march 2005 as one of the earliest dj product demonstration videos. Also it was my very first product demonstration video I recorded. I found a better quality of the video so you can enjoy some more of the deatils ;)
The CDJ-200 was a popular small DJ cd player with 3 filter-like effects, some loop functions and a lot more as you can see in this video.

julian marino ramos imagine it at the time :) this was the very first one, the cdj1000mk3 I hit the hardest, really trying to find the point where it goes wrong...
Absolutely awesome, I found a pair for 190 $USD and they will be the gates to my path in djing.
Nice demo with just one CDJ. I have used these on open decks but perhaps new model.

I asked my friend what to buy for start, his answer was quick, cdj 200. So i bought them, and im pretty sure now,i can play on anythink by pioneer :D
Damn, if only I had this unit back in the 80's when the breakers were shakin the floor. Had to put 5gram tracking on the 1200's !
Hope my year 2000 supossed anti shock Sony walkman cd player supported that kind of shake when I was walking... LOL.

2:00 what the hell that effect is just awesome! any way to do this on cdj 3000 the crowd will go nuts
You can come pretty close to the effect at 2:00 if you have a DJM.
Use the roll and shorten it, then use the filters... It's not exactly the same but pretty close
@@DJResourceTV i just this week got a pair of these since i have so many CDs (but then also got xdj 700s) ten years after i got traktor and a controller (back in 2010) when i told myself i'll learn DJing and never did. better late than never (now in my late 30s) LOL

If im in my late 30s multi instrument and good with DAWs but learning to DJ only now and have my imaginary dream to play a festival with my own covers and remixes, do you recommend i get started by posting mixes on youtube (assuming i not get copyright take downs ill choose wisely!) with a camera on the CDJs and potentially with me in the video? Or is it more about playing live for people at events? I dont want to be a bar or wedding dj! More interesting in cover and remix production

One question: can you scratch on a cdj 200?
No it is not possible to scratch with a CDJ-200, that player was released before such possibilities unfortunatly.

Tengo un par de CDJ 200 y una Mixer DJM-600 en venta.
How do I remove the cue so all the cd plays?
I think you can do that by deactivating the auto Cue function by pressing that little black button on the left of the display
hello friend, I have a problem I get error E-8304 for MP3 files with folders could you tell me How should I do to remove this error problem? Thank you
There can be more causes for this error. Need more details about the file, what and how you connected the setup and with that hardware to be able to help
@@DJResourceTV I don't know friend, they are simple mp3 files put as cd data to record over and when I insert the cd in the cdj 200 player I get that error code I wrote to you
I would assume you are trying to play a file that is not supporter (ie. bitrate), or there might be an error on the Disc that happened during writing of the cd.

Stupid question . But this only play Cd's right ? . Cannot connect it to a pc and play from my playlist right ? .
Yes correct, the cdj-200 only plays from cd.
i found a pair of these for about 170 on ebay, do you think thats trustworthy
Not sure what currency you mean, but if you can buy a set for that amount i think that is reasonable is your in euro or dollar.

Yes correct, you can only play from CD. A data CD with .MP3 music on it will play on the CDJ-200.

I heard the jog wasn't too great on this. How is it?
The jog uw fine, but you cannot compare it to a cdj-1000/2000, that is a different class of player ;)
If you are started djing and playing with CD it is a nice deck to begin with. It has a decent scratch, a few nice effects and feels pretty solid.
You are going to have a lot of fun with them if you decide to go for it :)

Sorry, I mean Scratch effect with the digital jog effects. The jog itself is pretty solid and does a good job. No real scratch, you are right about that
