I'm loving every one of your reactions to Pink Floyd Prada. I'm nearly 70 now and its great to see how this music still manages to appeal to young people like you. Thank you a million times for sharing your genuine and heartfelt reactions with us.
More Floyd! Cool! 🤗 Let's get some Rush on the channel too! (Xanadu, 2112, Analog Kid, Digital Man & New World Man) Here's a few Rush songs to do since you've probably done/know/heard 'Tom Sawyer' and/or 'The Spirit of Radio' already. 🥰🐰
When Dark Side of the Moon came out in 1973, my neighbor and I spent that summer building a kickass treehouse Listening to Dark Side of the Moon on 8-track tape - literally the worst audio medium since the wax cylinder I was hooked on
"Shine on You Crazy Diamond Part V" (Waters, Gilmour, Wright; from 11:08 to 13:33) Part IV is followed by two guitars repeating an arpeggio variation on the main theme for about a minute with the theme of Part II. A baritone saxophone overlays the sounds, played by Dick Parry. The saxophone changes from a baritone to a tenor saxophone, as a time signature switch from 6/8 to 12/8 creates the feeling that the tempo doubles up. The sax solo is accompanied by a Solina string synthesizer keyboard sound. A machine-like hum fades in with musique concrete and segues into "Welcome to the Machine".
The song is written about and dedicated to founder member Syd Barrett, who departed from the band in 1968 after dealing with mental problems and substance abuse.
In reality the (Super long intro) is an integral part of the song, and not just an intro. It’s the footing and foundation on which the whole song is built.
Dick is like an unofficial fifth member. He did the sax on Money, Us and Them, this song, studio versions. The sax adds so much, on par with David’s solos in my opinion.
Syd actually wandered into the studio as they were recording it. They didn't recognize him at first because he had put on weight. "Nobody knows where you are" ....well SURPRISE!
Enjoying the reactions dude and really appreciate you saying that the concert was in the UK and not England (although technically it is) ,most Americans don't know that England is only a part of the UK, ( The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, to give it it's full title) .
So, Time and Us and them from Pulse. Echoes live at Pompeii. But if you really wanna go out there, try Several small species gathered in a cave and grooving with a Pict, from the Ummagumma album
I’m not 100% sure if I’ve Heard this or not but anyway, this is pure genius. And I love this and I would have to say I would have to say that most probably of the Pink Floyd songs. I probably have heard it’s just been a long time. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
This is one of my many favorites. I think you should REALLY do a 1st time reaction to the live version of Freebird by Lynard Skynard. I really think you will just love it!!
What makes this song extra heavy is that it is a tribute to the first original frontman (Syd Barret) who unfortunataly "went crazy" suspectedly because of abuse of psychedelic drugs. But they never actually found out what exactly went wrong with him, so the subject is arguable. On a more positive note, if you like sax solos then you def should check out "Money" if you haven`t already. Edit: Should have watched the whole video before i wrote this😂 but eehh, f it
I still suggest reacting to Led Zeppelin, you can check out anything, try Dazed & Confused. Or live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, the best version of it. Or Achilles Last Stand live at Knebworth (1979).
@@annmonaghan4360 yes because there’s far more great songs, then I think any other band. There’s only 2 I don’t care for, but I can’t say I hate them either, it’s harder picking your favorites. I can pick my favorite live songs though, I love how they improvise live, & make them even better. No disrespect to Page’s producing mixing etc. I know they loved performing live, with no time crunch with songs.
What was on the original song they use wine glasses. When Dace went on his first solo while in Italy. his wife and him walking the streets found a street musician plating wine glasses. Ask if he wanted to play this at his concert that night. ( which he did) Video can be found on you tube,
They were so amazing when I saw them live in Toronto in 88. They blew me away. The props and lightshow were incredible. Led Zeppelin next please 🙏 Great reaction as usual my friend and Peace out ✌️ 🙏 ☮️
Ian Carin è il trastierista di supporto nel live PULSE perché quello principale è il grande tastierista e membro storico dei Pink Floyd RICHARD WRIGHT ( RIP RICK 💓🙏)
Really enjoying your reactions to Pink Floyd dude there dope, but I'm disappointed with dooshbags in the comments who are more interested in complaining about the fact that it's under the wrong name ( which means that there is a Queen reaction under the wrong title as well) ,and the fact that you are cleaning your teeth (good dental hygiene is a must) and not 1 word about the music or the reaction, some people have their priorities in the wrong order.
Besides having the wrong band on your caption I don't think that's a big deal but you might want to change it back to Pink Floyd. It's possible you sat back with a blunt before you posted the caption but that would just make it even more funny!! LMAO!! Always enjoy your reactions keep going bud!!! Also I saw you love the sax, well dick Perry came out starting with a baritone saxophone then swung it around his shoulders and played the alto sax to cap it off!!

For me, this is their masterpiece. And I don't think you can fully appreciate how good it is without understanding Syd Barrett's story.
The crazy thing is that this concert was performed nearly 30 years after Pink Floyd became a band.

Come trovare una perla preziosa avere sul palco Dick Parry 🎷
Pink Floyd=feelings
I think it’s time to listen to “Time” from the Pulse concert! Carefully listen to the words. It’ll blow your mind.
It was Richard Wright playing lead synth.
You have to watch ECHOES LIVE IN POMPEII in 1972 - pure genius
Syd actually wandered into the studio as they were recording it. They didn't recognize him at first because he had put on weight. "Nobody knows where you are" ....well SURPRISE!
Good to see you enjoying the music. It’s been a rough day here in America but you’ve brought some light into my day. 🇺🇸🙏🏻💪
