    HOW TO REQUEST A TRICK:
    1. Find a performance of a trick on RUclips that you would like to see on my channel, or even film yourself performing the trick and upload it to RUclips.
    2. Copy that RUclips link and go to the community page on my channel. (You have to be on a computer to go onto the community page, unfortunately it doesn’t show up on mobile devices)
    3. Comment in the page: (whatever you want to say really... like “please teach this!” Or “I would love it if you revealed this!” Something like that.) Then PASTE the link to the performance in your comment.
    4. Post your comment! And I will for sure look at everyones request! The people's tricks that I like will get a special shoutout and a tutorial for the trick in a future video!

    I think that when you instruct the spectator to deal all the cards face-up, you should also tell them to look for their card. Otherwise they probably wouldn't notice their card was missing. Great as usual!

    At first when I was watching the performance i thought I knew what he was doing. But once he started deal through the cards and turned one over and dealt through the rest I was freaking amazed when the jack was the only card turned over. 😱😱😱🤭😮

    Hey Nathan! I don’t normally leave comments on any videos at all but I feel like I should say this...
    I’ve been interested and practicing magic for about 3 months now and your channel has helped me so much. I’ve read a few of the ‘beginner’ books which have also helped, but whenever I’m looking for a killer new trick I come straight to your channel. Your slight of hand is so flawless and very inspiring. Just performed this trick to some family members and it went perfectly which felt great! Thank you for all your brilliant content, you are helping me improve all the time, can’t wait for the next video!

    Your card tricks are very good, and I love your channel. I learn so many new tricks from it, but I think I found an improvement to this trick (which will make it easier and I think also smoother): when you have the two cards on top of each other, instead of doing the wrist move with your hand and a double lift, you could just do a double lift and put the cards on top of the deck

    A much cleaner way to do the final switch is to do a turnover pass controlling the X card to the bottom and the selection to the middle, then half pass the bottom card to clean up. Prevents the double lift (which is tough to do when all eyes are on your hands as this is the fi al reveal) and also the DL cleanup move which i always think looks nasty

    Great trick. One question - You say the magician is not supposed to know/see the spectator's card, yet he shows it face up when he does the first double lift right before he loses it in the middle of the pack? Am I seeing that wrong?

  • @connorham7389
    @connorham7389 5 лет назад +22

    The way you controlled the selection to the bottom of the deck would not work if you’re not supposed to see their card though.

      He means the spectator doesn't show the card to him at the start as that would bring up suspicion with the spectator that the magician knows his card.

    Amazing trick, for real! but I think the revelation of the face down card is too long. People will think that 'why so many moves just to flip a card?' right?

    • @AMillionCardTricks
      @AMillionCardTricks  5 лет назад +1

      Noble Lucas I mean honestly yeah that’s true. Unfortunately since this is an impromptu trick there’s no other way to switch it out quicker unless you use gimmicks or something. But I think spectators will actually go along with it, especially if you have a dramatic presentation. They will just assume your building up suspense which is typical for a magic trick so I think it’s ok.
