Nice review but I bought the ZO-41-II instead. Besides Phrozen page NOT providing any in-depth info on features, the page is more chaff than wheat or the single page manual with barely any info. I really wanted to find a hands on review like your video which has shown me the features of the Saber are pretty barebones for an ultrasonic cutter compared to others in the market, more so when desktop sonic cutters have been available for more than a decade. It's more akin to Echotech's first desktop model the USW-334 from 15 years ago which is the great-granddaddy of the ZO-41-II by the same company. I understand that $249-259 is on the cheap side for someone who wants one on a budget, but If you shop around you can find better deals for a few $$$ more. Instead of paying Amazon $460 which in the end is sold & shipped from 3rd party seller, I got my ZO-41-II from HobbyLink Japan for 37440 yen which is $280 USD+S&H thanks to currently weak yen exchange rate, not a lot more than the Saber's price. And for starters the HLJ product page and Echotech's own page are more substance than bling and list all the info and features which convinced me to buy it instead. Like two activation switch modes, you can select to only activate if you hold it only or on/off with a single press with timer and overheating protection. And it also has two power modes, low and high.

I knew that these existed but they were always out of my price range, 200$ if the quality is good seems like a steal!
Yeah for the price and what you get this is a great little setup
Thank you for a terrific video. I’ve never heard of a Sonic cutter. I think I need to get one.
How would it work on carving wax ?
I'd imagine that the wax would melt due to friction...
Yeah it melts the wax and don't leave a clean finish
@@randymay you didn't have to try it but thanks for doing so. I was content with your first answer.
lmfao, Amazon sucks here... It's $650 in Canada.
