Omg I would love to see your reaction to the fan docu, and even another video the same creator made regarding their disbandment. Even their songs! I don't think we saw another group who does their type of sound so I was just sad they disbanded, because it's so rare to find easy listening songs thats so suave classy sexy type of feel like theirs (at least after they established their sound once baekho took over production). And as easy listening as it was, a lot of trainees have a hard time to even recreate their music for a cover and thats telling a LOT about their skills. Maybe it's also an era thing, they debuted when there's just no way to survive but to be good at singing since backing tracks arent used the way idols use it nowadays.
In case you also want to check the other members' solo works after disbandment:
Kim Jonghyeon - Lights (title), Blaze (bside, recommend this cause there's choreo since he promoted with this too)
Minhyun - Hidden Side (title), Cube (bside, have choreo)
Ren/Choi Mingi - Ready to Move (title)
AARON - Time Difference (no MV, since he just released this independently, but there is a choreo video)
    About No Rules:
Basically the whole album is based on temperature, if you listen to the album in order, you can feel the temperature change in the vibe following the sort of story of meeting someone to breaking up. Like you don't need lyrics to feel that and I think that's one of Baekho's specialty, to really put the emotion in the sound and not relying so much on lyrics. No Rules is like the stage where the romance is at the peak (the watch showing unregulated temperature but when they're with each other, they are at equilibrium of 36). Sort of growing affection but hints of Baekho's character love being too far ahead or too much for the lady (visuals of him always being in front leading a bit distanced from her like jumping in the pool, and running, then some of the same scenes he's without her).
Elevator is a remake of JYP's hit song, which explains the retro feel. He remade it especially by adding the vocals since the original is rap heavy. It's the first of his baed project, which he explained will have both remakes and original songs. Baekho as a producer himself does a lot of r&b, which probably makes sense since he's very close to Bumzu who teaches him composing and producing in the first place. So you can see a lot of the influence in his music too. You can sense it too in SVT but not as much cause they have a brighter sound that dims a lot of the r&b influence (in a good way obv)

You girls should dig into Nu'est, you will not be disappointed. Baekho is the song writer n producer for most of Nu'est songs n albums. Nu'est music is kinda different so you probably gonna like it. Fyi, Nu'est have 5 visual so be careful of that 😆.. ohhh also Nu'est only have 1 hyung (aron 93L) and 4 maknae (JR, Baekho, Minhyun, Ren all 95L)

It was actually a remake of one of JYP song on the same title back in 1995, that is why you feel the retro vibe.. He add flavor to it..
And it was only the 1st track for this project.
    Hope you enjoy it..
If you want to hear more of his work i suggest listen to nuest and nuest w album..
