Yay I'm so excited, I've been on amazon looking at keyboards and I saw this exact one and thought it was great for me. It only had 2 reviews so I came to RUclips, so thank you for this review/demonstration.
Looking for a piano for my granddaughter.... this one sounds great and looks simple to use.... most electric pianos have way too many 'extras' for a beginner. Love it.
I bought this piano for my granddaughter... it arrived yesterday and she LOVES it! She brought it over to show me and it sounds fantastic, feels like it's made with quality materials, good key action, and simple enough that she won't get overwhelmed by its features. Extra features can be added if she wants them, key board stand, seat, pedal, headphones, mic, carrying case, etc. She's anxious to get started.
I highy reccomend this piano for begginers, it sounds great but the downside is it has only semi weighted keys if you want realistic feel of the weighted keys, get the pro version it has better features also. I was originally planning to get the pro version but they ran out of stock so i ended up with this, but dont get me wrong this piano is great!
I'm taking piano lessons for the first time and the Alesis Recital keyboard with the univeral choice for the beginners. My Alesis was just delivered today and I cannot wait to get started. I forgot to get my headphones, which I just ordered, but that will not stop my from practicing.
Wow.....thank you so much. I saw an Alesis video on this piano keyboard and of course it sounded absolutely beautiful. So I wanted to see a video posted by someone not connected to the Alesis company. I now feel comfortable about purchasing this keyboard.
I'm so happy I could help you out Gloria! Let me know how you like it. I don't play it enough anymore due to my busy schedule but when I do, I still absolutely love it.
I play piano daily, but will be traveling for several weeks and looking for a keyboard. Based on ur video and the reviews I think I will buy this one along with a stand and headphones. Thx u.
I got this one and it’s ideal for the beginner, one thing I found is that the book stand don’t have anything to keep the books open, so I glued sone extra large paper clips on it. Works perfectly now. For how much it cost I think it should’ve foot pedals included. Now I have to find some that suitable fit it.
I think that it´s better to conect to a computer to use a bank of libraries sound, like Noire piano by Native instruments, or something like this, by the MIDI conection.
This video is really helpful, I'm trying to find a keyboard to get my girlfriend for valetine's day and it was between this and the Williams Allegro 2. This was cheaper, so I thought it would lower quality than the Williams, but the reviews I'm reading says that this is pretty damn good as well. Think I'm about to buy it. Thanks man. Btw, I'm all up in that Rocket League. Got to Shooting Star just today!
If You Buy It, Can You Give Me You're Opinions On The Sound Quality Compared To The Allegro 2? I Was Also Looking Between The 2 For My Cousin's Birthday. Feel Free To Tweet At My Twitter @Tomb_VII Or Just Reply To Me Here! Thanks!
I am a piano and keyboard enthusiast and work in music instrument sales. This and Williams are identical in sound quality and the semi-weighted aspect of the keys.
Have you played with this piano much? If so have you noticed any features that might be lacking or working better then you expected since purchase? And any wear from since you first purchased?
Hey! Sorry for the late response I'm just now seeing your comment. I honestly still love this keyboard. I don't use it as often as I would like, maybe a couple times week, but I have no complaints. No wear so far :)
I heard that the keys are semi - weighted... is that a really SIGNIFICANT change? Especially for beginner players? I’m just getting into learning and I don’t know if this is the right buy... a lot of the reviews are saying that the keys make a huge difference
If you're looking for a keyboard with weighted keys I would not purchase this one. There is a bit of weight to them but they still feel very light. 2 months later I'm still loving it :)
How is this in comparison to the williams legato plus 88-key digital piano? I'm definitely a beginner. So far everything I've learned about the williams legato is good for someone like me
Hi Leang! It's called Heart & Soul. A while back when I was 14 (I'm 21 now) I did a tutorial for that song on a different channel. I no longer have access to that channel but the video has over 300,000 views now! Here's the link if you want to check it out: ruclips.net/video/dC08MRAxX3c/видео.html As for the William Legato keyboard, I've heard great things but I can't say much about it since I've never used it. I can say though that I've had this Alesis for a little over a week and I absolutely LOVE it.
you're thinking of Layer. Split literally splits the keyboard in half, so that the left side is one voice, and the right side is a different voice. Layered puts both voices on at the same time, so all the notes you play have two voices, instead of one
I would really avoid Williams. They make their pianos from cheap materials and there are constant complaints about them on piano forums. www.reddit.com/r/piano/wiki/faq#wiki_brands_to_avoid
Evian Ling I'm replacing a broken Williams encore ( the power supply went bad after like 5 years to be fair). i have the Alexis on the way from Amazon!
EpicGamerBen oh its great to be playing again.. my williams encore had fully weighted keys so i was a bit spoiled with that.. the keys seem kind of light. but if you press them softer or harder they sound like a real piano.. and it is really light on different sounds.. i am a musician and have lots of different digital effects processors it is really fun playing with those!! also just yesterday i found the proper usb cord to hook it up to my laptop and found some free midi synth software. i have zero experience with this midi stuff. ill try to remember post an update to let you know how that goes!!
At first I was really impressed by this digital piano, but I got it about 2 weeks ago and suddenly I heard some "ticks" after releasing the keys. Around 4 -6 Keys developed this annoying sound and I just didn't like it. I am sending it back and changing to the Yamaha p45, hoping for that one to be better
I've been reading some comments in Amazon... In all this time, have you had problems with the volume of this keyboard? I want to buy it, but I'm not sure if is a good product (I like the sound, I'm talking about quality) Thanks for the video! It is very helpful kind regards Carlos.

Too bad it’s out of stock at the moment
i want to purchase it now! and its out of stock
After watching this video I’ve finally decided which piano I’ll buy. Thanks a lot.

Looking for a piano for my granddaughter.... this one sounds great and looks simple to use.... most electric pianos have way too many 'extras' for a beginner. Love it.
Bev West Thanks for the comment! If you're looking for a full 88-key keyboard for beginners, it doesn't get much better than this :)

I have classical training in piano, and would like to know if this is good for me to brush up on my piano skills? Thank you, and stay safe.

mans really played the doki doki song as the first tune big up
Do the keys feel more like a real piano or like keyboard? Read that the keys are semi-weighted, not sure how those compare to fully weighted?
I see some amazon reviews saying the volume stopped working after a few months of use. I am worrying and still considering if I should get it.
I know it's a bit of a hassle but in the worst case I guess you should have a 2 year guarantee
you can

what kind of usb port is that? I just bought this and want to use midi, but I cant figure it out...
Does this mean you can ise it as a isb controller for daw?
Like the ones printers use
Yes. That will operate in Host Mode MIDI. Yes, you can trigger your DAW from this keyboard.
Mark Bell - SA host mode midi ? How do you configure it to that ?
What was that song u played on the electric piano? I can't get it out of my head lol

The Split one is not exactly how you thaught
The split is for using two modes togheter for example synth and Organ
you're thinking of Layer. Split literally splits the keyboard in half, so that the left side is one voice, and the right side is a different voice. Layered puts both voices on at the same time, so all the notes you play have two voices, instead of one
