I feel like the introduction of Attuned Heroes instead of fixing the actual SI system was a declaration that they've given up on making the game accessible and fun on a base level and are hellbent on squeezing the slaves who stay for all the money they're worth.

@@neonthunder3261 They stopped doing it as it with units like Hector and some falchion users, it didn't provide value to new units as older ones would just get their weapon. I.e. me no make money cuz people just use old units
@@Go_Spleef_YourselfThis really wasn’t an issue in most situations, as the newer characters would have better stats. It was only a problem with like, Brave Roy, whose stats are too similar to Eliwood’s, so you’d just merge Eliwood and he’d be better. Something like Julia with Virtuous Naga wouldn’t have had this problem, because L!Julia has Light and Dark to keep her unique, and a better statline.
The X thing is only for units without prf skills, if anything this is mainly for f2p players to give normal units a bit of an effect push on the prf skillcreep meta
@@connerzac The only units that can use the +4 atk with no drawback are f2p units to begin with, I'm not seeing a whale getting rid of Gullveig's B for +4 atk

I was confused about the X skills. And yeah it is pretty punishing towards f2ps. But I just imagined Lif getting Peony's X skill and he would be scary.
@josepithe13th85 Basically if the unit has a personal skill in their kit like Brave Eirika's Moonlight Bangle as an example it means they cannot get an X Slot.
Just skip a year until Z skills get out and make the X skills more obsolete lol. Or just skip the game entirely cuz there will always be something better coming out anyway unless the game dies.
death blow might be bad but it's still free +4 attack if you have it, compared to people that don't have it. and wait for the "attack finish echo" to come out 💀
honestly as bullcrap as this is the part that gets to me the most is that its ANOTHER limited time hero. if you want a rearmed hero you may be out of luck for like 3 months (screw arcane downfall), and then you have a week to summon for them but now on top of having to get your unit the new arcane weapon you now need to bother with waiting another 3 months and spending all your f2p orbs for a skill slot that will be powercrept every 1 or 2 months, it feels like not that long ago we got tier 4 B skills which turned out pretty fun and customisable but this is just. bleh. the minimum you can do is make them part of the common 5 star pool but nooooo
They dont care about ftp to such an extent that they released 2 (two) free big tiddi units and none of them has any value whatsoever.... Fodderless poop that will be forgotten on the depths of some reserve.... The game is getting lamer and lamer as time passes....

Thankfully IS somewhat limited it, so units with personal skills can't get X Slots. But still is a bit worrying.
