    I understand the physical part of building brick walls but this helped me out so much with the painting method. I’m going to make a Dark Souls bon fire diorama. A knight will be kneeling down at the bonfire. You will see the glow of the fire on the knights face and castle walls behind him. The bonfire I bought has LEDs built inside of it and it flashes like a fire already it’s really cool, sadly it’s 9 inches tall so I have to scale everything to match it.

    Good job on the videos! Just found this channel and currently viewing them all in one go. That knife is ingenious, never even crossed my mind to utilize it that way.

    Where did you get your sand from? The quality of your craft is fantastic btw hope you get back to posting so we can all see your videos.

      Thank you. The sand is from our sand box outside- just play sand found at our local gravel/sand dealer.

    Looks good but, Wayyy to time consuming. Green Stuff world makes brick pattern rolling pins. You should check them out

      Yep, I have some of their rollers. They work to a degree, some better than others. I haven’t tried any larger brick patterns...

    Dumb question: do you let the colors dry between each application?

    • @stellariangames8014
      @stellariangames8014  Год назад +1

      Not dumb at all. On most of my builds I don’t wait for it to dry, as they are just layers of dry brushing. The layers are so thin that it doesn’t matter. If it is a solid layer, then yes wait. If you are trying to get a really fine highlight layer, also wait. Otherwise it is ok to have a little mix. In fact, I often don’t even change brushes. I just wipe it off thoroughly and jump right in.

    What kind of utility knife is that? I can figure it out

    What knife are you use with the guide on it

    • @stellariangames8014
      @stellariangames8014  4 года назад

      It is an Olfa circle cutting knife. I took the pivot portion off, leaving that nice bracket to act as a perpendicular guide. Video 015 covers the knives I use.
