I loved this movie! The ads for it in the Dallas Morning News were beautiful. I'll never forget and I have an original 1 sheet poster framed. Got the poster when it played the Majestic in Wills Point, Texas...o so long ago, which makes me an old guy now! 😂😂
I remember this tune as a kid. I was making up words to that song. I use to say: "THE CHANCES OF GETTING TO HEAVEN IS TEN TO ONE!" I was 7 years old.
Gorgeus black cat!
A good movie then?
Jane Fonda was so damn pretty and gorgeous.
Southern sleaze glamorized as only Hollywood could do it. The casting is sensational, the music is brilliant, and the genius main titles arguably surpass the picture itself. A winner well worth watching. The blu-rays from Columbia/Sony and Arrow look and sound great.
I didn't know Capucine had so seductive voice. I came here for listen Barbara Stanwyck's cocky voice after read funny story during filming, Harvey disliked by Capucine and Fonda. But Stanwyck act indifferent towards him, When she first encountered Laurence Harvey on the set film Walk on The Wild Side, lounging in his gold brocade bathrobe and drinking champagne, she walked up to him and said, "All right, Larry, let's go! Get your ass in gear. We've got a picture to make, and I don't have time for prima donnas!" After a moment of silence, this struck Harvey as highly amusing, and he burst into laughter.
Capucine is a legend❤😊
Capucine was such a beautiful talented actress; why she chose to leave us by self- defenestration , I do not know❤😊
Yes indeed, so sad (
Trust me we ain’t getting movies like this anymore
I wonder if Lou Reed got the idea to write a song loosely based on this movie?
Hope you put up the complete film.
Great film, and reminds me a little bit of King Creole...
0:09- Oh right, it IS too early for Lou Reed to provide a song.
0:25- The are WAY hotter than The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse (1962). I'd buy THIS apocalypse for a dollar.
1:37- Well, what if my kink is to play Scrabble with dirty words?
2:19- I'll take it! They'll love me in prison if I said I hooked up with Jane Fonda!
2:35- "Lawrence perfected the acting style known as the 'I do declare' method."
2:55- Clearly I'm at THIS movie, because I'm mature and want something sophisticated.
