      Thank you MAC 😊 I had intended to make it a decoupaged mermaid but when I discovered my 3D Silicone gel was rock solid I had to think on my feet and move forward 😄 They turn out looking so 3 dimensional even as a 2D sheet of paper 😊

      You're very welcome Diane. I hope you have as much fun as I did making this. It's a fast and fun little project. Mine went together in an afternoon and it looks so cool just hanging out in there 😄
      I leave for holiday in the morning. I was frantically finishing editing this video whilst sat at my work desk yesterday between customers hoping to get it up before I go. It's not perfect and a little rushed but it is up and now I can relax and get ready to enjoy my holiday 😄😬

    What a perfect piece for a collectors room! Thanks so much for the print share too, I’ll definitely give it a go for my adventurers study. I love the 3d technique with the ball tool on the reverse of the mermaid, genius! I’m also about to try making specimens i jars of formaldehyde- polymer clay modelling work first then I’ll add to the jars. I want to avoid resin if possible so may try scenic water, have you used it before? Thanks again for the share ❤

    • @craftsbyxander
      @craftsbyxander  Месяц назад +1

      Thank you Wendy 😊 ❤️
      I have never heard of scenic water before. I will go look for it now. When I was building my Vampire and coffin I made a heart with a wooden stake through it in a jar filled with resin and it failed both times due to millions of tiny bubbles. Maybe scenic water in the answer! 😃😊 thank you for the tip 😊

    • @wendywalker3598
      @wendywalker3598 Месяц назад +1

      It melts in a pot of kettle hot water then sets naturally that’s why I fancy trying it and it’s not as toxic as resin which is also not at all sustainable. Worth a try! X

    How about: "I'm so sorry I did something that made you feel so horrible. Is there anything at all I can do to help fix what I've done or make you able to feel better about me being in your life? I'm willing to go at your pace and do whatever you need, but if you can't have me in your life right now, I will walk away and work on myself. If you ever want to reach out, I am always here because I love you no matter what and I want you to be happy and comfortable in your life, even if that means not having me in it." ?

    I learned quite a few things watching ❤ (love learning) i subscribed. I am curious what brand of scissors you used? I have a set of fiskars small sewing scissors (they fold) that i use, along with xacto knives. But those scissors looked perfect. Again. Thanks ❤🎉

      @TheMagebear No, nothing like that. Unfortunately for me my working environment couldn't be any further away from creativity. I did use to want to be a prosthetic and theatrical makeup artist once upon a time but nowadays a sit at a desk
