Emotional moment bringing our daughter home to our home for the first time. We have spent the last 2 years preparing for this moment mentally, 1 year preparing for it financially and 6 months getting our home ready. Some unsolicited advice Ave, please don't feel bad and don't put pressure on yourself about breastfeeding. All Mamas are different when it comes to milk production. If you have to supplement with formula, go for it because as long as Tokyo is being fed, how or where it comes from is the least of your concern. So okay lang yan
And as for peeing and pooping after C-section, girl, I know what that's was like. So scary because it feels like your stitches are going to come apart. They won't but it's such a weird feeling.
And how you survive the newborn stage and actually, the first year, when baby sleeps you sleep too. Your guys' schedule is not your own anymore. Welcome to parenthood. Congrats and Tokyo is absolutely previous

Congrats. Now am reminiscing my time with my eldest 31 years ago. The after- delivery discomforts, the struggles with breastfeeding, the sleepless nights because the baby is adjusting to her new environment with the sunlight but the moment we get to kiss her toes, oh what a rewarding time it is, all you can say is Thank you Lord and thank you Queen baby.

Contact a lactation consultant to help you. Sometimes your milk ducts can become clogged and cause production issues, engorgement/pain issues. Also, when baby cries a lot and is full of gas, she could be colicky.

you know what ? babies do have to cry a lot for them to get thier lungs strong as well as thier physics because when they whimper a lot ,it's like they're doing some exercises and that's good for them really...so we don't have to be so protective whenever they do cry ,it's their job !!!

What weight was she at birth? My kids were 12lbs, 10lbs and 8lbs. One tip I will give you. when you put her in the bouncy chair thing, place it in front of the TV and have cartoons on with the sound and it will give her something to focus on rather than staring into empty space. Don't envy the nappy changing because baby poop stinks, especially if she is drinking formula. The adventure continues.
Norway is beautiful country to be born in specially in may. Health insurance and everything else for children is top, you know that Martin😊and may is beautiful name❤

It took me a few weeks before I could produced enough breast milk when I had my daughter. It will hurt at first. Just try to nurse your baby as much as possible, the more you breast feed the more your body makes milk. And try using a breast pump after nursing to help stimulate your milk production. Tip for mom. Place cabbage leaves as compress on engorged, painful breasts.

The breast is gonna produce milk as long as the latching is good and do a timed BF too.. Happened on my first baby we both don't know how to properly do it and I've not been producing enough milk but with regular BFing and also help from the hubby to do the sucking to get the milk flowing. And don't worry about the baby crying, it's their exercise and way of releasing emotions. Good job Mama and Papa.. Baby Tokyo is so loved. 😍💐

I live in Australia and my only regret is that I didn't teach my only child to speak Tagalog and be bilingual. She is now 42 years old and also wished the same.
It is early yet I know but it is lovely to see/hear Tokyo Amelia speak Norwegian and Tagalog as she grows up. And be fluent in both languages.

Congratulations 🎈 just a little tip for goodnight sleep… for daytime naps it’s ok with noise and light.. and nighttime have the surroundings dark and white noise machine on. It makes them feel comfortable because that’s how it was in the womb… and then with that cycle they will learn the difference between night and day. It really helps a lot.. congrats guys doing a great job

Use a girdle Ave the Hook & I one, at least 6 inches in width ( not so much on witdh) just enough to cover the wounds, so you can easily move around, you will not feel that your stitches are expanding/ stretching or feel pain, put makapal na lampin on the spot of the wound, I had been there (W/ 3 adults now). Congratulations for being a good parents! ❤❤❤

You pay for healthcare in Norway..but it is in high taxes and such.
When our twins where born during pandemic, we bought an electric baby swing which was a God send for us back then. It really helped us to manage our babies back then. My advice, you dont want to carry the baby too much on your arms. Masasanay sila na pag umiyak sila, kakargahin sila, and mahihirapan kayo to manage the baby in the days to come. Congrats and welcome to parenthood and PUYAT mode :) .
Ganun po talaga kc 1st baby, kahit ako lagi ko buhat 1st baby ko khit alam kong mahihirapan ako pag nasanay sa buhat.

@irvinology I disagree of what you have just stated I have to learn that this age of infancy is best month to keep carrrying a baby and putting her / him close to your heart ❤️ this contact close to your body and the baby will find comfort and being love and they feel they are well protected.they feel the love at the earliest stage of their life .
And in addition to this babies should remain calm and find comfort while they are in their parents bosom.and never ever also babies crying that long .it is not good their lungs will suffer.let them cry but 2 min. is good enough.thank you
