I may be a bit of a heretic here, but already I prefer HOTD to GOT. Perhaps because it's more intimate, less sprawling, and of course there's a lot more dragons! Oh, and Matt and Paddy (in first season)!
Me too...I found GoT overrated...way too many characters
I like HoTD more aswell, I guess its also that in HoTD "villains" are more complicated , like for example Aegon II isnt just another Joffrey and Rhaenyra I actually is like a flawed protagonist, she sint perfect like Jon Snow or Ned Stark in many ways , that makes the story more interesting

This is the first franchise where I see that most people dont put the original show on an unreachable pedestal, but praise the sequels fairly. Though this may just be due to the ending of the OG show.

Matt Smith is a rock star , dude has his own mic! I like how hes description of his character. Also Steve huggging Ewen during sighing is sweet.
They all should show up in their character costumes for one of those events. It would be awesome for the fans
