The upper slash looks sloppy as hell. Im guessing its animation is from DmC: Devil May Cry? Cuz that was the only variation of Vergil to ever do that pose.
@@warmwater8498 yeah but that can be excused since that move can be followed but with another slash, and thus allowing space to creating momentum for that follow up to be achieved. Meanwhile, Vergin here doesn't have any follow up with his Upper Slash.

In DMC3SE Vergil also does a stance like that when upper slashing. Though he doesn't sheathe the Yamato quite as quickly I don't think.
