Great video! When I saw that this segment was only 10 minutes long, I never expected you to get as far as Novato. But then, this drive always seemed longer when I was a kid, riding with the folks. I still recall when the 101 freeway ended at the Hwy 37 junction. From there, 101 was a boulevard through Novato, where drivers encountered the infamous "stoplight". The freeway bypass did not open until I was in highschool. It was just 6 lanes then. I'm surprised that it had to go to 8 lanes, that far north of the city. This was also my first good look at the new, Doyle-Drive replacement. Thanks for that. And, when did they start calling it the "Robin Williams Tunnel"?
The only time I went across this bridge was in 6th grade for a class trip (in a big bluebird school bus, mind you), and then did an about-face at Alexander Ave and went back across the bridge toward SF. Driving across the Golden Gate Bridge can get you singing the theme to "Full House" really quick for nostalgia purposes.
You originally posted this a while back, but had to remove it due to it being totally muted- despite the fact that you would no longer using copyrighted music in your road videos. That said, this reminds of an early video you did of US 101 north of SF. But then, after the highway narrows to 4 lanes, it encountered several at-grade intersections- which seen to be blocked off now as you drive it now. Also the Golden Gate Bridge is known for another tragic fact- more people jump off it to their doom than any other bridge on Earth. Hopefully the owners of the bridge are doing their best to fix this. Maybe someday you're revisit US 101 north of SF more.
Nice video!! I use to lived there in Marín COUNTY!!!

They have added suicide nets. Not a whole lot else you can do, tbh.
I think I saw my mom's car in the video! She drives a red Mercedes.
