saw it this weekend with my girl friend..she had to work in the weekend so we saw it early in the morning...the theater was packed...and it was the men who clapped the loudest and made the most noise .....all hail wonder woman....love all your vids....
And another thing is Wonder Woman is my second favorite hero after Batman and I fell in love with her character when I was watching justice league and justice league unlimited when I was a kid growing up because Wonder Woman was amazing in that series

I don't often go to the theater, but I went this weekend because you stressed the importance of it. I was so impressed I'm taking a friend to see it Thursday. Not only was the film enjoyable, but never have I had a more pleasant audience to watch it with.

Male Comicbook fans who love Wonder Woman could care less of her gender. If the writer provide a good story and amazing character development then everyone will be on board. I went into this movie forgetting her gender, she was a super hero and the story was well written compared to the other DCEU movies. Its nothing ground breaking about the screenwriter being openly gay. You can say that the gay community runs Hollywood and entertainment in general.

Grace Suicide Squad has a monster 2 week drop but still it has better domestic box office legs than Civil War just think about that plus maybe I'm the only one but I don't see any buzz for the Mummy.
Well to be fair, Summer movies almost all the time have better legs than movies released during may. For example, Ant-Man had a low opening weekend but managed a 3.1x multiplier. Wonder Woman is released in June where kids are starting to get out of school, so i think for sure it's going to have a better multiplier than Civil War and Suicide Squad, but not Ant-Man.
Didn't Captain America Civil War wind up being the second highest grossing movie of 2016 with over 400 million? How does SS have better legs, especially when it faced much less competition as an August release?

I am so happy she did great. I'm from a little country in Central America called Belize, and let me tell you, the WW Hype is real. Grown men excited to watch it with their sons and daughters. I find this very insulting, Grace. You didn't mention the Male Wonder Woman fans like myself who been supporting Wonder Woman for years championing this movie to be made along with her fellow female fans. The whole narrative is so wrong. It sounds like only woman and the LGBT community came to see this movie and the guys only watch this because Gadot is easy on the eyes ( a bonus for me). Fun fact I took two of my friends to this movie. One of them loves superhero movies and the other doesn't. They both ended up loving it. The one that doesn't like these movies cried! (also my little brother really loved it and wants to see it again!)

I live in ft. Lauderdale, and I went to a RPX 10:30 3d showing of WW on Friday night. I was so pleasantly surprised, that the whole theater was filled, and with probably the most diverse crowd for any movie that I've seen in...I can't even remember. There weren't many smaller children, but I think that was the time of day. I even sat next to a guy who looked to be about 18 ish, that was there by himself, I thought that was pretty cool. Not only was it the most diverse crowd, but everyone was so behaved that, the only sounds were laughs at the appropriate times. It was one of the best movie going experiences I've ever had! I think, to use your terminology grace, it hit all 4 quadrants? Big fan of your vids, keep up the great work!

After the movie was over, my best friend and I sat there and she turned to me and said "Okay so that was the greatest movie I have ever seen." As two 20 year olds, we were completely in shock of how far the coverage of women has come just within our lifetimes. I mean, I was absolutely thrilled that Diana's accomplishments weren't thrown in our face because she's a woman, but because she's a competent fighter who got things done. It was awesome. It's definitely in my top 5--nay, top 3--movies of all time.

I have a question: I saw that WW opened in 55 markets this last weekend and it has yet to hit some major ones , while I remember seeing that Fate of the Furious, for example, hit almost all of its 90-something markets simultaneously in its opening weekend. So I was curious as to why WW "only" got 55 markets, is this kind of thing part of some kind of negotiation made by the studios across the globe, how do these numbers come to be? And does this hurt a movie's chances in its final box office numbers? On a sidenote: love your content, I've been keeping up for some years now and I've spent all day waiting for this video lol love from brazil :)
Grace, I cried like a baby at the moment WW/Diana walks up to the wall with the photos toward the end of the movie. Gadot's performance, all with her eyes and face, no words, absolutely crushed my heart and the tears flowed like Niagara Falls :)
What I'm wondering now is whether this movie or Black Panther is going to be more successful, because that's going to be the first movie titled after a black superhero. Thrilled that both of these movies are finally happening though.
Just watched the WW movie. It was pretty good. But the action sequences was pretty underwhelming. Unnecessary slow mos, jump cuts etc. Also she isn't average she is a demi-god. Supposed to be perfection. Kind wish Snyder helped with the action sequences. Only thing I liked about the BVS. But GJ DC. Also why 360p lol
I haven't seen the movie, but I feel like it could be a date movie, a movie with a group of friends, and a movie with the family, you would all likely enjoy it, if you're alone, as a couple or in a big group, and I think these insane amount of photos illustrate that. And as Grace said, the photos prove, it is for everyone, and not just the different genders, but different ages as well. This photo montage had me teary-eyed because it feels special, this movie feels special, and the love for it, feels deserved. :)

I don't often go to the theater, but I went this weekend because you stressed the importance of it. I was so impressed I'm taking a friend to see it Thursday. Not only was the film enjoyable, but never have I had a more pleasant audience to watch it with.

Male Comicbook fans who love Wonder Woman could care less of her gender. If the writer provide a good story and amazing character development then everyone will be on board. I went into this movie forgetting her gender, she was a super hero and the story was well written compared to the other DCEU movies. Its nothing ground breaking about the screenwriter being openly gay. You can say that the gay community runs Hollywood and entertainment in general.
The movie exceeded everything I had hoped for in a Wonder Woman movie. I am in the minority here when I say that I am a male who has always loved female led comics, movies, and video games. I always get puzzling looks from other people. I just dont understand the hate. Anyways, I will be going back to see this in 3D!
I find it strange that certain people thinks Wonder Woman is suppose to look like a regular woman. I remember in the first original comic. She was suppose to be easy on the eyes with angelic features. At any case, I personally think Gal Gadot looks perfect.

The thing that sucks about this is that Wonder Woman is a known super hero . She's in the A teir of superheroes in the whole . Iron man almost got that 100mill and he's in the B teir . Grace Suicide Squad has a monster 2 week drop but still it has better domestic box office legs than Civil War just think about that plus maybe I'm the only one but I don't see any buzz for the Mummy.

Well to be fair, Summer movies almost all the time have better legs than movies released during may. For example, Ant-Man had a low opening weekend but managed a 3.1x multiplier. Wonder Woman is released in June where kids are starting to get out of school, so i think for sure it's going to have a better multiplier than Civil War and Suicide Squad, but not Ant-Man.
Didn't Captain America Civil War wind up being the second highest grossing movie of 2016 with over 400 million? How does SS have better legs, especially when it faced much less competition as an August release?

I am so happy she did great. I'm from a little country in Central America called Belize, and let me tell you, the WW Hype is real. Grown men excited to watch it with their sons and daughters. My sister, who rolls her eyes when I talk about DC, was giddy with excitement after watching WW. She DEMANDS a sequel. lol. As usual, you're awesome Grace.
I find this very insulting, Grace. You didn't mention the Male Wonder Woman fans like myself who been supporting Wonder Woman for years championing this movie to be made along with her fellow female fans. The whole narrative is so wrong. It sounds like only woman and the LGBT community came to see this movie and the guys only watch this because Gadot is easy on the eyes ( a bonus for me). Why can't be the narrative Wonder Woman has everywhere and to another awesome superhero film.

Fun fact I took two of my friends to this movie. One of them loves superhero movies and the other doesn't. They both ended up loving it. The one that doesn't like these movies cried! (also my little brother really loved it and wants to see it again!)

The reason WW is a success is because it beat expectations. While movies like BvS failed miserably. BvS should have been the greatest comic book movie ever and earned 2 billion. Wonder Woman has always been physically beautiful. She was drawn that way since her inception in 1942. Linda Carter was a model and was/is beautiful back in the 1970's when she was cast as Wonder Woman for the TV show. 40 years later and people are complaining about good looks being an issue? What a backwards world we've become.

Robert Treviño last 4 Transformers films on RT: 57%, 19%, 35% and 18%. Box Office for Transformers: $3.7 Billion. But i should have clarified. I think smaller movies benefit from critics like Get Out but look at a film like Dredd, it did real well with critics and audiences but made almost no money. Its a tricky thing sometimes.

I live in ft. Lauderdale, and I went to a RPX 10:30 3d showing of WW on Friday night. I was so pleasantly surprised, that the whole theater was filled, and with probably the most diverse crowd for any movie that I've seen in...I can't even remember. There weren't many smaller children, but I think that was the time of day. I even sat next to a guy who looked to be about 18 ish, that was there by himself, I thought that was pretty cool. Not only was it the most diverse crowd, but everyone was so behaved that, the only sounds were laughs at the appropriate times. It was one of the best movie going experiences I've ever had! I think, to use your terminology grace, it hit all 4 quadrants? Big fan of your vids, keep up the great work!

To be Honest, this Movie iS REALY REALY EXELLENT. We should ALL SUPPORT THIS MOVIE and ENSURE IT IS A HUGE HIT. Right now, there is A BIG WAR BRUING OVER THE DCEU and MCU, BETWEEN SOME BIASED YOU TUBERS. Again, DCEU IS A BIG BIG WIN. WONDER WOMAN IS A WONDERFUL MASTERPIECE.

2. A LGBT screenwriter should get no more attention, praise, or criticism for writing a script in the same language of the people that read it.

After the movie was over, my best friend and I sat there and she turned to me and said "Okay so that was the greatest movie I have ever seen."
As two 20 year olds, we were completely in shock of how far the coverage of women has come just within our lifetimes. I mean, I was absolutely thrilled that Diana's accomplishments weren't thrown in our face because she's a woman, but because she's a competent fighter who got things done. It was awesome. It's definitely in my top 5--nay, top 3--movies of all time.
I loved Man Of Steel and Wonder Woman and I liked BVS ultimate cut and I hated suicide squad but I loved Harley Quinn and dead shot and katana and el diablo in the movie

I have a question: I saw that WW opened in 55 markets this last weekend and it has yet to hit some major ones , while I remember seeing that Fate of the Furious, for example, hit almost all of its 90-something markets simultaneously in its opening weekend. So I was curious as to why WW "only" got 55 markets, is this kind of thing part of some kind of negotiation made by the studios across the globe, how do these numbers come to be? And does this hurt a movie's chances in its final box office numbers? On a sidenote: love your content, I've been keeping up for some years now and I've spent all day waiting for this video lol love from brazil :)

Grace, I cried like a baby at the moment WW/Diana walks up to the wall with the photos toward the end of the movie. Gadot's performance, all with her eyes and face, no words, absolutely crushed my heart and the tears flowed like Niagara Falls :)
What I'm wondering now is whether this movie or Black Panther is going to be more successful, because that's going to be the first movie titled after a black superhero. Thrilled that both of these movies are finally happening though.

Just watched the WW movie. It was pretty good. But the action sequences was pretty underwhelming. Unnecessary slow mos, jump cuts etc. Also she isn't average she is a demi-god. Supposed to be perfection. Kind wish Snyder helped with the action sequences. Only thing I liked about the BVS. But GJ DC.

I haven't seen the movie, but I feel like it could be a date movie, a movie with a group of friends, and a movie with the family, you would all likely enjoy it, if you're alone, as a couple or in a big group, and I think these insane amount of photos illustrate that. And as Grace said, the photos prove, it is for everyone, and not just the different genders, but different ages as well. This photo montage had me teary-eyed because it feels special, this movie feels special, and the love for it, feels deserved. :)

Gal Gadot will not get an oscar nomination. I can't be the only one that thought her emoting was generally very weak. Her physicality, however, spot on.
Agreed. She looked great and had some great moves, but there were several times in conversations when she seemed a little like a high-school actor. Not enough to blow the movie though. She did fine, didn't F it up. (But an Oscar nod?? Don't make me laugh!)

I took my friend, who normally isn't into comic book movies, Saturday night and she loved it!!! I even asked if she thought it was accessible for people who are not familiar with Wonder Woman comics and she said yes!! This is a must see movie!!!
