They're versatile. They're blending different styles and eras of metal and rock so no two songs sound alike. The saxophone in 'Give it All'. Electronic vocals in 'City Calling'. The soulfulness in 'Thunderdome'. It catches you off guard. I like it.

In the mid-80s the NWOBHM and the subsequent worldwide metal scene delved into AOR territory, twenty years later the European power metal movement did the same in the mid-2000s, and now in the mid-2020s, similar stuff is happening in the NWOTHM. I do have to say that Striker have done a better job of embracing it than most while maintaining a metal edge, but I still prefer their earlier material to this.

OK fanboys and girls. Get real. Not a good direction for the band. They been heading down a strange path for the past 4 years. I get trying new sounds and all, but this one pretty much fails. First 4-5 albums had serious balls and meaning. This has serious labia and meaningless. Some fair guitar riffs nut otherwise just the group shout sound. Pissed.
These guys remind me of Motley Crue if they were an actual metal band and didn't suck

Saddly, this album is not for me. Love the band as a whole, but not this production.
Seems to be pretty divisive this time around, I actually love this album, but I’ve heard a lot of criticism.
This one and the last one have been disappointments for me. So many bands I loved going this direction.
