Meta Cooler's Lock-On Buster was so much cooler in Raging Blast 2, where it was a cinematic rush pulled straight from the movie. I wish they weren't so stringent with movesets being pulled from BT3 and ignoring the upgrades/ updates from the RB games.
Agreed big time. So many attacks and how they worked were both functionally and cinematically gorgeous. Meta Cooler had the high speed melee clash super that you’d activate as a counter. Ended with that energy pulse. And Super Janemba’s cube teleport teleport with the blast to the gut. GORGEOUS.
I don't like how they handled Mecha Frieza. Yeah, he doesn't have much screen time but he does have unique moves he doesn't use in his normal Final Form. His supers should have been Death Flash and Ruthless Blow which were moves he had back in Raging Blast 2.
I disagree, Mecha Frieza didn't have to be so stock. Going back to Raging Blast once again, he had a unique blast and rush (Death Blaster and Ruthless Blow), both of which he did in show. But of course, I knew this game wouldn't have them. Sometimes it really feels like these developers are not making an adaptation of the source material but of the previous games.
2:30 - I actually think Mecha Frieza was better in every way in Raging Blast 2 In Sparking Zero he only has death beam and fissure slash as supers, moves he didn't use in the manga or anime against Trunks In Raging Blast 2, he had the yellow energy beam he fired at Trunks, including the rush attack where he stabs you from behind, just like how he killed his soldier in the anime. On top of that he has the two supers from Sparking Zero, including an explosive wave. His Supernova in RB2 was more accurate to the anime, where he threw another blast afterwards.
Meta Cooler is simply cool in every way. Lockon Buster is better executed then in BT3, could also work as a finisher too had they give it a bigger explosion like the anime, the finger beams seem like it locks on to you/the target, since the more goku moves back the attacks still hit him and seem to follow, and the Supernova charge is the icing on the cake. The charge is beautiful and the sound is taken directly from the film.
Finger Blitz Barrage got such a weird glow up. It was such a nothing move in BT3, and now it looks nice, it aims incredibly hard and deals good damage. It's basically Metal Cooler's Death Beam - cheap ki cost and effective. Metal Cooler entirely has gotten way more love than I'd ever expected, ngl.
Actually, I find Cold's lack of Sword to be kind of lame. I know he >Shouldn't< have it, but rule of cool in this case seems better than precision. Meta Cooler actually got real nerfed this patch. Because of it, his Unblockable Lock-On Buster doesn't travel as quickly, so you can see the Sparkles. Before it moved SO FAST you couldn't even see it. It's strange, I woulda liked it better as a Rush if that were the case. As for Mecha Freeza, no issues here, he is just a reskin of Final Form. Although now with the patch, i'm pretty sure Mecha is better, an Unblockable Blast and a much better Install are good boons. Cold's Full Power Death Beam shoulda worked like how Perfect Cell "Perfect Beam" is, multiple hits, forces hard knockdown. As it is, it's just a Death Beam with a different name. His SEW takes a bit to come out, so it misses the crucial window for it to be unblockable, still, decent move to throw out because of King's Dignity Ki Boost.
My ideal moveset Meta-Coola & Mecha-Freeza (don’t have much to say for King Cold outside of maybe a rush super with the sword instead of a Super Explosive Wave) Meta Coola - Finger Blitz Barrage - Lock-On Buster except it’s a rush like in Raging Blast 2 - I get Supernova is cool but imagine a move that incorporates Meta Coola Core or the Meta Coola Army… or both! Mecha-Freeza - Death Blaster (move he did in the Manga before Trunks sliced him) - Ruthless Blow (Raging Blast 2/references the show) - Supernova, where Freeza adds an extra blast once the opponent catches it (essentially, Raging Blast 2 did Mecha Freeza way more justice than Sparking Zero did) I was also thinking maybe taking the 100% Death Ball/Emperor’s Revenge ultimate from BT2 and making it a super for Mecha-Freeza, as he is conceptually stronger than he was at 100% on Namek.
My only complaint about King Cold is that i wish his blast was a Supernova instead of a generic blast. Death Beams and Supernovas are Frieza's Clan signature.

King Cold's new ultimate feels a little underwhelming in my opinion. I prefer his ultimate in BT3. It's a shame that he loses the sword. I know it feels out of place for him to have, but I didn't mind it.
@@hardcase8003 Yes, you can have 5 metal coolers in team battle but in DP battles you can only have 2 because metal cooler cost 7 DP and the limit is 15 DP in a team.

The Meta Cooler from RB2 could also charge ki. He was far more dangerous in comparison.
