Yes the Philippines has many great singers Gigi, Katrina, K.Z, all of whom are better than anyone you'll find in North America but when it comes to the best, most talented, most versatile, most modest, great personality, then it's Morissette hands down. David Foster actually called her " the future of music".

Her voice's tonal quality is really very, very, very pleasant to ears and to the heart. Morissette did not expect "Akin Ka Na Lang" (Please Be Mine)to be where it is now. In the first place it did not win any award at the 2014 "Himig Handog: P-Pop Love Songs" songwriting competitionwritten. Francis Kiko Salazar composed it for her.
However, the song attracted interest because of the way Mori sang it, including the whistle.

Can’t get wrong listening to her what ever genre you drop on her .
You have to relisten to the part where she displays her incredible breath control and doesn't take a breath for long time. Vocal coaches are always amazed by this. Her tone is so warm, like a blanket of love. That's what sets her apart as well from other vocalists.
