Thanks for this tutorial. I was reluctant to dive into weight and balance, but you have made complete sense of it. Excellent starting point for we who were not math majors!
Just an average guy trying to get the most realistic experience out of my flight sim, your videos are great, thank you. it will be helpful making a videos explaining VFR in general, flight planning, procedures etc.
If you have full fuel (50 gallons), wouldn't the weight be 300? I realize my warrior can only use 48 gallons, but when it's full, it's supposed to hold 50 gallons. I've never had an empty tank, so I can't confirm it hold exactly 25 gallons per wing tank.
Good question. The 2 lbs of unusable fuel are included in the empty weight since we assume we can never really get it out. So if we included it in our fuel weight we would be double counting it. So we only want to include usable fuel!
@PartTimePilot I used the wrong sheet and performance charts for weight and balance, I also didn't have the right empty weight as well. I did good in other areas, and just need to touch up on v speeds
@@PartTimePilot apologies ,mistyped . The Q was ,if you able to send those slides for studying ? I did subscribe for your channel , and all those videos are helping a lot to get trought my PPL . I would appreciate any help . Thank you and have a great day ! Regards

Mike thanks man! I will be going through all the steps of flight planning for planning a cross country. What sort of procedures do you mean?
