This is the third video in our online mini series of Purcell's Finest Verses starring Tim Mead and Andy Staples.
This video features Andy Staples' beautiful rendition of The Sparrow and The Dove from hardy Climes and the dangerous Toils of War, z325 which was written by Henry Purcell in 1683. It was originally written as an ode for the wedding of Prince George of Denmark and Princess Anne.
