Best starter bike you can spend your money on. Ive had mines for barely 2 months, put on 4,000 miles already lol. It aint no super sport of course but this bike is more than capable of making you smile.
I've also heard that its incredibly kind to mods and can easily (barring the cost, of course) be modded and tuned to challenge a 650 with the same mods and tune.
@@v3nom11065 Indeed, I would recommend upgrading the clutch in the 500 though. Mine exploded at 2k miles (dealer deemed it a manufacturer defect) but they are know for going through clutches!
Congrats! I have the sedici strada 3, chin mounts mount + adapter pack, gopro hero 11 black, gopro media mod, and wired rode lav mic. I believe i went over the whole setup in my "is it practical to daily a sportbike" video!
Heya!! I want to get one so bad but I'm 6'1, still growing, and I dont know how the bike would fit me. Is it for rather tall medium or short people? Since i dont have an option to sit on the bike, I really dont know anything about the foot placement and stuff so if anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated btw, what was your top speed with the 500?
Firstly, I am 5’6” and the bike fits me very well. My buddy who is 6’4” fits on it decently but a slightly higher seating position would be preferred. If I were you, I’d look into other bikes with a slightly higher seating position or aftermarket seats for the 500 that raise the seating position. My top speed that I’ve hit is 125 at 170lbs body weight.
I saw a video a year or so ago when I was looking into what bike to get for my first and he was on a ninja 400. He was a little over 6 foot tall. His gf seemed to be pretty in shape if I remember right. He said it’s doable but got to make sure the passenger knows how to ride as a passenger. Especially in turns. I’ve never ridden so I can’t say for sure but that’s what he said paraphrasing a bit and that made me never want to have a passenger lol.
@@Yerocco I've talked to experienced riders about having a passenger, if they don't know how to ride they can easily bring the bike down. It is best to teach them the basics at the very least and to stay parallel to the rider. I'm sure I'll backpack somebody eventually but as of right now it is not happening lol

It really is a blast to ride, and for a beginner like myself it has been great!

Is the passenger seat comfortable? And is it harder to ride with someone on your back??
I have not had a backpack before. But I have heard that it is more difficult with a backpacker
