No, it's not helping Jonny. If verdict is reached in favour of Johnny, Amber's lawyers could argue that the jury was influenced based on public opinion, and that a ground to apply for a mistrial.

I'm guessing the judge, court etc were offered benefits for making this trial public to distract the masses, possibly even on the JD side anticipating that he'd legally lose, but publicly redeem his reputation.

No it wasn't. Johnny Depps case against her is that she defamed him and was the reason he lost work. The defense is showing that there was little to no harm caused to his career by trending algorithms. The point was to show that there was little public harm done to his career.

She's counter suing Johnny for defamation! So this witness is on the stand because of Johnnys publicist and the information he put out there online. Johnnys lawyer is saying no this is not the case as the publicist was only a small part as people are entitled to an opinion about the case and express it! Likewise hes arguing the analyst's findings are biased based on his opinion influencing the outcome of his research. justice is a positive term and its a fair term! internet law is complex as AI does impact on the information we see but as hes arguing about the world justice for Johnny its not a negative for Amber and not linked to his publicist! Because you can control what the majority post on line as its personal opinion and not hurtful in this case! 🤷🏻♀️

Actually, JD gave permission for the psychiatrist to speak. It was either that (someone sympathetic to him) or have a forensic psychiatrist evaluate him like they did with Amber (someone who doesn't know him).

The jury and witnesses can't. But the lawyers and heard and Depp can. She wasn't allowed to talk to her lawyers about her testimony because it wasn't finished yet. And this expert they had hired before the trial and he did his research before the trial I would assume. That's what I can gather anyway.

Expert witnesses can do anything they like because they are not witnesses for/supporting either the defendant or plaintiff personally they are simply testifying to the meaning/importance of information in their field of expertise
If it is within the purview of an expert witnesses necessity for knowledge in order to opine then they will need to follow certain aspects of the trial

I turned in during the beginning of cross and couldn’t figure out which side this guy was testifying for or against. Seems like he did a good job on telling the jury the majority the world support Johnny.

I'd hope jury's don't care about how boring someone is or how someone makes them feel. I'd hope they instead cared more about collecting data and facts to come to a fair and impartial judgement (as much as is possible to be fair and impartial).

I've sat on a few juries and spoken with the winning attorneys a couple times (typically defendants attorneys) and they'll tell you that part of the plaintiff's strategy was to confuse or tire the jury. Not to actually disprove but to convolute the thought process of examining rvidence

Can someone please explain how this helps Amber's case? Her attorneys have actually just opened a can of worms and this just shows that their client is hated by the world. I'm starting to wonder if her attorneys are also just as out of touch with reality, just like she is.

Yeah I've watched a few lawyers talk about the case and apparently the clients do have a lot of say and some decisions are made by them and the lawyers have to obey and make it work cause that's what they're paid to do. So yeah I think they've let her run the show a bit too much and it's already buried them

My frustration with things like this. What does this mans testimony have to do with anything? Unless twitter uses determine who is hiring at the studios, it doesn't. Unless The studios are using this man or a service like this to determine who they hire, it doesn't matter. One old girlfriend had a bottle tossed in the same room as her. It didn't make her break up with him, in fact, she didn't seem too bothered by it. So, Johnny occasionally loses his temper? Well guess what, we all do. I would too, especially if I could trust no one. I was eternally lonely, because I could trust no one. I was fated to be lonely because even my therapists would step out of the woodwork to to show that there was no care, but, only scrutiny behind their eyes when they were looking at me. Wagging tails on people claiming to be friends staying in your home bite your hand when you run out of treats for them. What a horribly lonely life for someone who seems to want human connection so much.

The reason there is negativity about Amber Heard pretty much on every platform possible is not because of Johnny Depp but because of Amber's own behaviour. It is her tendency to lie, manipulate and twist everything. She couldn't even admit to not donating the money and keeping it on the stand just a few days ago. In Amber's world, she is always right and everyone else is wrong. This is why everyone hates her and hashtags like "AmberisaLiar" exists. She brought this all on herself. Maybe she wouldn't be in this situation if she had told the full truth and owned up to all her mistakes.
This chap said this was his first actual testimony in a trial. I feel a bit sorry for him cause I suspect it will also be his last one. Careers are being destroyed at a rate of knots!

This should not even be in the court case. All involved are suppose to stay away from media, internet opinions etc. Another wasted day of the Court’s time.
People are allowed their own opinions whether anyone likes it or not.
The jury can't use social media or the internet opinions. JD and AH can't post or make statements. Expert witnesses are not excluded from internet or social media, just lay witnesses that are.

This man SHOULD NOT have been admitted as an expert. He is an expert in computer science at best. Mostly OS development. NONE of his credentials were suited for a data analyst. The only credential that even mentions data analysis is his "consulting". But none of his proper work or education has anything to do with it. This man is NO expert on data analysis. As can be seen from his testimony. His analysis was incredibly poorly done and he even made a MISTAKE in his main graph.
One of the notations on his main graph is pointed at Dec 2019 and says "December 17, 2020 The Stand (TV Series) Premiers. If such an absolute basic error can get into his graph its either intentional, or he isn't an expert. This is something he should have SEEN. And I'm still wondering how none of the lawyers have seen it. And yes, that date in itself is correct. Just not where it is on the graph. So its not a typo. Its a whole box set to the wrong year. Amateur error.

Hey guys. I am watching this trial from another part of world, from Albania, which is a country between Italy and Greece. Can anybody blame Johnny Depp for being his fan and partecipating in Justice 4 Johnny? Johnny is the best actor in the world and the most wonderful person.
I'm no lawyer, of course, and my knowledge of the law wouldn't fill up a thimble. But my impression at this point is that Amber's legal team is putting her in jeopardy by wasting time trying to bolster her silly counter-claim.
