I too was skeptical at first, but just from the first 2 episodes they really did Pac & Afeni justice. I was almost moved to tears by the end of episode 2 with how when Pac played Afeni Dear Mama after she bailed him out, to show that he had forgiven her for being absent in his life during her addiction. Nonetheless, the Hughes addressed the fight and admitted they were in the wrong and should’ve look at the situation from PAC’s POV also his family are very integrated in the series so like PAC’s aunt said you’re getting the story raw, uncut with blemishes.
Allen Hughes brought up Pac's apology to the Hughes brothers in a 1995 jailhouse interview with Vibe magazine, during an appearance on the Sway's Universe show. He didn't say that the Hughes brothers were wrong. Hughes referred to Pac as "delusional", a "performance artist" and a "mythmaker", during an interview with Art of Dialogue promoting the documentary. I don't see Hughes dissing Pac like that if Afeni was still alive. Hughes is talking out of both sides of his mouth, which is the point Napoleon made about Hughes and people in the entertainment industry.
@@davidsamuels9557 he literally said “In hindsight, Pac was right.” So in other words looking at the entirety of the situation, he’s admitting that they were wrong and Pac was right. They were just pissed at the moment that they got beat down. Like I said from the first 2 episodes they did nothing but show Pac Respect. Out of the 2 hours of film released so far Hughes only had a 5 min segment just to address the elephant in the room you know why? Out of respect, to clear the air, forgive and bury that part of his life. The other 1 hour and 55 minutes are straight documentary videos of Pac and Afeni with friends and family dialogue thrown in it which only depicts Pac as what we all know the GOAT!
