I copped a dope sweater from this collection while thrifting and I'm really excited about it. Original price was $890 and I got it for $20. I can tell it's real because of the detail of the embroidery
@@robinsimon9117 McQueen was incapable of designing menswear. His work for men was appalling. I suspect that you've never actual even Lee's work for men, have you.
OHHHH DEARRR It was rather a hit or miss in regards with the menswear line of ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, I do hope they rather push it further for menswear am a bit tired of this lanky/long sometimes bordering 70's silhouette that they have been doing season after season I really wish they could experiment more on layers, volume, textures, color instead of sending several variations they could do on a print on the runway. I remember when LEE was still alive the menswear line have a more solid storytelling and a wide variation of ensembles.
makigott19 Sadly, the man himself is no longer with us. As bad as it sounds, I feel like the brand should have died with Lee, no one can emulate what he did. But I do sympathize with the designers who are under massive pressure to launch collections that would be seen as something Lee would have made, its a huge ask really. If only he was still alive I would love to see more of his work :(
Not a terrible collection. I get the Nautical / Navy themes with bold solids and embroidered / print details. I like some of the sailor tattoo usage in the pieces. Though, at times it teeters on looking cheap. The calls to military (navy) denim was kind of cool. Some the proportions of the sleeves in the jackets look like mistakes, but I liked some of the cuts elsewhere. Is it wearable? Mostly. Is runway fashion supposed to be accessible to the masses? Defining not.
this collection was blah. the only pieces i liked were the optical illusion printed suits...other than that...it was the same 3 looks in different shitty nautical patterns. horrible. 6 collections smashed into one sinking ship of a tragedy.
Ya es verano 2016 y no veo a ningún influencer usando estas bellezas.

Yes, but I didn't quite agree on the bomber jacket with the suit
Enrique Cruz Oh really. I think maybe it's because the sleeves are kind of baggy?
misterfreehugs maybe
Not sure all the similar designs are practical....each piece should be as unique as possible or why not shop at walmart.

He would have never made a show this boring ..
