Well said about the balance issue ! I have the same issue that wearing on one shoulder will definitely fall off and the zipper caught my hands every time i use it . But I really like the shape it is so popular!

Just watched your video as debating whether to get the snapshot and thank you for such an honest review as most videos I have watched they just rave about it. I wear my bags mostly on my shoulder and always buy crossbody as I am really tall and need longer straps but I wondered if the strap would be too wide, I thought the strap looked to big for the bag and wondered if you could even get a hand in the bag, you have answered and confirmed my concerns, so glad I watched your video ❤

Thanks for the honesty, i was debating buying the bag but now i’m kind of getting less interesed in it, being hard to open and not being able to carry it as a shoulder bag were the deal breakers for me.
HD76HD76 thanks . It’s not hard to open , the zipper is just a bit annoying . For sure I would not be able to use as a shoulder bag , I think the strap is too wide .

I love the look of the bag, I am waiting to see if they come out with one with 1 zipper in the middle with 1 opening instead of 2 I think I would like that better.

I have the same complaints about this bag. Also, if they had left just one compartment inside and eliminated one of the zippers, it would fit way more than it does now.

I have a beautiful pink pastel, but the strap is in leather, much better. I would prefere one compartment.
I actually love mine....I have the rainbow and it’s a great crossbody! The strap is so comfortable crossbody and I love the back pocket for my credit card or some quick cash.
Good! I personally want to love it but I just like it for now. Maybe it will grow on me.
That back pocket is my parking tickets’ designated pocket!😂
It's why I opted for the Softshot bag. It's bigger and the strap is thinner. I love my softshot purse!

I agree about the strap and the bag proportion but I think it has to do with my body type too. I wear my snapshot bag sometimes with a chain strap or a wristlet strap instead. I love the thicker straps but use it more often with my laptop bags and other larger bags. I'd also like it better if it was one zipper and compartment vs. two - could fit more items in that way. My iPhone XS fits just fine.

Use this bag as a convenient pack and go. And definitely crossbody simple but yet trendy and elegant
I GOT 2 and I love them. When I step I to the Salon I work at it it turns necks fast. It is perfectly made and looks expensive.
Honestly, my mom owns one. It was the playboy version and I find it SO pretty. I have been on the fence with the peanuts version (the bird in snoopy) for some reasons you mentioned : mainly the scratchy zipper. I don't want a 300+ € bag to PHYSICALLY HURT ME. 😂
Yeah, not a fan of the zipper , the stiff structure and small size. Now that I have had it for a while, I barely use it because these three things.
@@AnaSantapau I mean, to me, the stiffness is the only way to keep the bag 'looking good'. Softer leather tends to have a hard time keeping its looks and the size is kinda up to tastes. (In my case, my bag just gotta be big enough for phone and money.) But the zipper scratching me is bothersome, because it did leave a pretty big scratch on me. (I literally was holding my mom's bag while she tried clothes so I handed her her wallet.) It's very bothersome to imagine hurting yourself while going out because of your bag.
Honestly, I am considering buying 'inspired' bags (you know how fashion always get other brand to make similar bags...) Just to avoid the zippers but that peanuts bag is tugging so hard at my heart !
My spouse recently bought one of these but I noticed the leather label inside says the sure shot but the style is the snapshot so I’m confused.

thanks for very honest n useful review..i almost get this bag..but now i think i change my mind..dont like if i have to scratche my finger every time get the stuff out of the bag..im looking simple elegant everyday bag just to carry my phone, cards n car key..
They have the soft version and is also a little bigger , look it up. Maybe that one could be a good everyday bag.

L Le yes it does but I think that is something that goes away with time , while the leather adjust to the metal.
Oddly enough, this is one of the few bags that will actually usually stay on my shoulders. 🤣🤣 Bags with thin straps slide right off of my shoulder immediately

Does anyone have a problem with the strap snagging their shirt? I have one of the straps that has gold and I think the gold thread material is ruff and is rubbing against my blouses and snagging them. Is this happening to anyone else?
It hasn’t happened to me as of yet , but I have the black hardware and it’s nice and smooth.
What material your blouses you were wearing with this gold strap? Wool?

I only see it says The Marc Jacobs . My older Mark jacobs bag has the YKK.

I prefer the soft version of this bag better if you need more room and if you don’t like structured hard bags. I wish I had the soft one.

So weirdly enough the Tote bag has a smaller thinner strap that suits this size bag or the camera bag WAY better. Idk why they made these straps thicker for a smaller bag

maemunah 17 The bag doesn’t show a size, even on the website . If you want the dimensions , I mention them on the video and it’s on the website as well.
Omg i have one in the exactly same color and it make me nuts 😂😂 I wish you had made this video like a month earlier so I wouldn't buy it. I'm so torn between love and hatred with this bag. It looks so nice, but the heavy, chunky strap annoys me everytime I wear it. And i only can wear black, white and some pastel chic thing with it, i miss red so much :)) it's a gift so i really don't know what to do with it except just let it sit in the closet. Such a waste!

Scarlett O'Hara oh no! I totally understand you . I want to love it , but I don’t . I like the strap and the look but it’s annoying . It’s a bag to use once in a blue. I was thinking about getting one that looks like this one from Tory Burch , but the strap is thin.

HI, Yes I have it. I still want to love it, because its such a cool and different bag, but I still find it hard to match due to this color and its a bit too small for my needs. I have to carry it without a wallet, because wallet plus cellphone is too much. I recommend the soft version, which is less structured and a bit larger. I plan on getting that one.

It is a crossbody bag. They stated clearly on their website. Why complain about it can’t be wear as shoulder bag? It s not fair for designer.
I’m not here to be fair to a company , it’s my personal review . I love crossbody bags, that’s why I have it , but sometimes when I grab the bag quickly I put it on my shoulder and noticed it doesn’t stay (I’m sure every one does this ) . I think it’s fair that people know that.

Just sell it if u dont really into this bag that much. u can get The Softshot. Will suit you better than The Snapshot. For me personally i dont have any issue with The Snapshot. I always wear crossbody and i like it. so it doesnt matter if its the only way to carry it because its my style to go. And for the chunky is totally okay with me because love all the chunky details and large trendy strap. i think the strap is so cute. Yours is plain blue, u can wear this plain blue with another bigger casual bag of yours. Never go out of style. And u can change the strap with the thinner one if you wanna wear your light blue snapshot. They sell a million of thinner strap, right? and this bag means to carry ONLY our MAIN personal belongings. Of course there is some days that we all have to carry a laptop or work papers and so on, just use another bigger bag. The Snapshot is NOT meant for work bag. It is a simple fun bag. if u need an extra space, there is days u can rotate your bag with another bigger one. There is always a bag for any occasion, right. We all have at least 10 type of bags for any different needs and style and occassion.

It's a crossbody bag not a purse though. The straps are only used because it crosses over your body. 🤣🤣
Michele Leathers of course , I own many crossbody bags , they are my favorite type , but I like bags that I can wear multiple ways , and comfortably . This one just works as a crossbody only .
I was going to say the same thing a lot of ppl are complaining about it being this or that but it’s made for what it’s made for, it’s a small crossbody bag not a basic everyday wear purse
@@katarap They get confused with shoulder bag that can be worn as a crossbody bag. But crossbody bag can’t be worn as shoulder bag. Typical Crossbody bag they would make the strap slanted so it contour to the body.
