- Say goodbye to Shopify Plus' old checkout.liquid and hello to Shopify's new checkout extensibility upgrade. With this feature, you can customize your Shopify Checkout in a way that's upgrade-safe, just drag & drop app blocks with the Theme Editor. But don't wait too long - checkout.liquid will be deprecated on August 13, 2024. We tried the Checkout Extensibility Upgrade to see how to make the switch before it's too late.

How to install Shopify Checkout UI Extensions in server ?
Hello, Thank you for the content.
Is there a method that allows us to have one checkout page instead of three?
good news: one-page checkout is an officially announced featured that's coming soon.
How much does this upgrade cost?
Checkout Extensibility is included with Shopify Plus at $2K/mo USD
incase we publish a draft checkout and incase we want to move back to default checkout. How does that work?
"You can revert to only using checkout.liquid until August 13, 2024. After that date, checkout.liquid will no longer be supported on the information, shipping and payment pages."
@@ethercycle We have published one of checkout drafts, now how to revert back to deafult Shopify checkout?
Can you share steps? Would be a big help
@@hubakomedia3671 Just tried it myself, here's how to revert checkout as of June 6th 2023--
1. Open Theme Editor
2. Open checkout.liquid
3. Click 'Revert to checkout.liquid' in the message banner at the top of the code editor.
@@ethercycle This was helpful.
How to make code changes to checkout now? How can we a section for example?
@@hubakomedia3671 Coding a custom Checkout Extension is the new best practice. Gadget.dev can help speed things along for developers.
Love this. Thanks, Kurt
My pleasure!
