It's the owners preference man. If he liked the dart he liked the dart. I've driven both. Yah the vw's are fun and quick but the dart is way more practical for a daily and for somebody who doesn't mind hitting the corners every so often lol.

Unfortunately, they were also mostly unreliable, long term. This is coming from a former Dart owner and no, taking care of it was not an issue, electrical issues were.

drguffey I have a 2015 SE with SE Rallye Package which includes the Touring Suspension and Rear Stabilizer bar. The handling is adequate but I wouldn't consider it great. The Mini Cooper and Miata I used to own are soooo much more fun to drive.
+Michael Keogh I had a Mini Cooper s hardtop with the JCW package and it tromped all over my dart in every possible catagory other then interior comfort and audio quality. It was fast handled better sounded nicer got just as good of mpg and had good resale value. I am greatly disappointed in my 2013 mopar edition dart
Dodge dropped the ball with the dart. They coulda thrown a turbo in the 2.0l and had a beast of a car. Instead, they just slacked off. That's all they seem to do nowadays.
Go-fast bits diverter valve, wastegate adjustment, Madness go pedal, injen hot and cold pipes for your intercooler, cold air intake, turbo blanket to manage the amount of heat that comes off of that turbo and motor, lightweight crank pulley sold by Road Race Motorsports, exhaust work, and of course you can do some tunes but the 1.4 can't put out a lot of horsepower or you'll blow everything. This is everything I have on my Dart Turbo currently
I have a 2013 Dodge Dart Limited Multiair air turbo 1.4 and the top on it is 125 with the digital dash, if car company’s didn’t put rev & speed limiters on them I’m sure any car would hit a high top speed
It’s an Alfa Romeo Guilietta under the American Dodge bodywork, so of course it drives brilliantly. But why is there a Dodge Dart in Germany…? You wouldn’t bother importing one surely, you’d just get a Giulietta instead.

Deadpool so we are comparing the RS to the dart?? I have autocrossed with a group of RS's here and was putting down better times than most of them in my damn near stock Dart.. Volvo supplied the Inline 5 engine for the RS and some other little things which are great but the RS in general is not all it's cracked up to be.. The Dart is more than most people care to think they are and all it takes is for people like me to post vids to show that its not just your everyday commuter car and that you can actually throw them around quite a bit..

@@Turshin the 2.4l with the turbo kit isnt at 300whp yet. The most is 260whp I believe.
whats the top speed you reached?
My 2013 dart aero govenor kicks in at 114mph. Just on rpms alone I know it can hit 130mph. The aero is a 1.4L i4 turbo
