You and me both. I have met a few folks who've gone a decade plus with no license.
I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve driven without my license and all of them have been to go back and get it.
I’ve always hated how I always end up with someone else’s drugs in my vehicles. It’s a constant aggravation.

This is where I scratch my head. Phony plates, suspended license, possession of paraphernalia, being high as five people on meth and she is let go with a warning and the truck driven off STILL without valid tags. I have seen some people taken to jail for just the needle. The lack of consistency is what baffles me. In one respect, I like that each scenario is kind of taken at face value and each case has it's own vibe. But apply that across the board. There are people who have been in possession of a joint and spent the night in jail.
I agree 100%. I thought FOR SURE she would be arrested. I'm all for not penalizing people for nonviolent crimes but the inconsistency here is ridiculous.
@@ForsakenClarity I know. Every town and county in America has different policies and limits as to how far they will go. This department seems very tolerant and she got lucky that the cops were on the liberal side of the law. A roll of the dice.

It is what it is. She definitely got lucky on this encounter. Sometimes just not being an a- hole can get you a get out jail free card.
Well, like he said the needle was clean and unused. Had it been used with residue in it, that would be a different story. As for the suspended, I personally would’ve given her a court date since she was cooperative. And once I found the needle, DEFINITELY would’ve asked for consent to search her and called for a female deputy/officer. Again, personal preference though.

it was just the needle, it didn't have any residue in or on it. That's why the officer referred to it as a clean needle.

Pff, Im diabetic, I have needles in my vehicle and on my person at all times.
You can buy them over the counter, its not like you need a prescription or valid reason to purchase or posses them...
Many pharmacies will not sell them unless you show an insulin prescription.
Special EDy in Australia if diabetic you can only get needles/ insulin by prescription .. or questions will be asked .

Honestly she was respectful and the officers handled it appropriately. They could have easily given her charges for driving on a suspended license and with swapped plates she’s very fortunate to have not gotten arrested. Good to see a positive police interaction 👌🏻

They also have the right to let them search. I have had my vehicle searched once, I gave them consent to search it. Although I don't use drugs so that might help.

One thing i noticed is that all the officers touch the back of the car when they approach the driver. I see this in every video i watch. Is there a reason for it?
It leaves their (the officers) fingerprints on the vehicle in case they run off from the scene
