Thanks for the mention and definitely watch for the gusts 👍 In our opinion, XC is the least useful or reliable of the weather apps. Windy _does_ have a "Gust mode" but it is easily missed and in Predictwind, the gust mode is only available if you use a paid version. Having said that, if you want to be a more cautious sailor then use PredictWind. Even a F3 looks scary in their colour scheme and the colouring of F6 is the stuff of nightmares 🤣 BTW - nice sailing 👍
Any day on the water is better that anything else! Fingers crossed for Melissa . FYI back in 1978 I was a young guy working in the old Tyler fiberglass yard. ( they built your bowman hull). The boat was in for a rudder enlargement . I don’t think this was a standard improvement but this owner thought it was worth it. I only mention it as you noted it was a bit squirmy in a quartering sea. Prehaps your owners group might have heard of this? Not suggesting you do anything but food for thought. Cheers Warren
Good luck Melissa. I had my twins at 35 weeks. They had twin to twin transfusion. Both went to baby special care with this and that. Both are adults now. Very healthy strapping lads. Good luck.

Wonderful, reminds me of glorious times when we took delivery of our Bowman 46 centre cockpit from Emsworth Marine. Sea trials to Cherbourg nearly ended in disaster but subsequently spent fantastic times cruising the Canaries and Med. Good luck & bon voyages.
@@SailingMelody A timeless classic Holman & Pie, quick too. After much cruising eventually replaced it with an Oyster 55. would do it all over again in a heartbeat, enjoy.

I have to say this is the first time I have watched one of your videos and wAs not happy,more to do with the title of the video,I watched with a bad foreboding that some terrible news was to come so did not enjoy watching,it feels almost click bate style like some channels try to get more views.intentional or not considering what you had said in a earlier video where you mentioned Melissa was in hospital it felt like you were going to deliver some terrible news.I am glad Melissa and baby are well but the title suggested a dartk turn.some people may have a go for my comments,I suffer from ptsd and I know all about dark feelings,I just feel the title was inappropriate and very ambiguous..watching your videos have helped me in my continuing recovery and put me in a better place,this video was the exception to the rule.
