Using those concrete form tubes you would be able to build a full scale replica of a Sidewinder AAM. Oh yeah. Any flight that you can recover your rocket in one piece is a good flight.
When I started in model rocketry (Estes and Centuri) D class motors were the biggest you could get. I built and flew just about every one of the Estes line starting with the Mosquito (1/4A engines up to the Estes Cherokee-D on a D12-5. This was back in the mid to late 70s.

I didn't get involved till 2001 . It's amazing what this hobby has grown into !
It's crazy how easy it is to get some monster motors now. Just not cheap anymore.
