For my next video, I’ll be building another full re-creation of a machine from a movie. It’s not a very feasible or material-friendly machine, but I think it’s worth taking a shot at a more difficult build. Wish me luck!!
My son loves this little add on to our creations. I just never thought of adding tape to our builds but he said Lily uses tape too. Great video and keep up with the mechanics and creativity.
I remember when I started building dominoes, that this trick got me the biggest feeling of accomplishment went I finally made it work. I thought, this had to be the most difficult trick to pull of :D A few years later I learned about taping them and then it just got waaay easier to do reliably. I really like the trick in the end!
1:40 ok I think Im going to sound like a beginner but I've been building for something like 4.5 years and I actually didn't know that you should tape the dominoes to make the double effect. I just built it with no tape and it *usually* worked (I build with rallys) So it's fun to discover new things I thought I already knew
I really like these video essays. You weave the humor in nicely (Google thinks you’re a loser but it’s not because you looked up the dimensions of a brick lmao) and I liked the approach to the topic (and related domino community tricks) for outside audiences! The triple sonimod was quite something too, wow
Just Incredible ! All the explanations were clear and a so interesting. The triple sonimod trick at the end of the video firstly destroyed my brain. I has needed to replay it twice to understand how it works o: Great work !
They…..aren’t…..deceiving though……. It’s just an effect that’s cool to watch, no trickery involved and no one is trying to deceive anyone with this lol
I like how the "number of views" (at 3:02) might seem reasonable if you zip by quickly, but contains a hint that it's not meant to be taken seriously: the commas at end of number are kinda random. Implied message, I think, is "don't be pedantic; we're just having fun here". (And in that spirit: actual number shown is just shy of a sextillion. If we round up (quite a bit) to be generous, there's on the order of ten billion humans on Earth. So you'd need everyone on Earth, PLUS an equal number of aliens on 100 billion other planets, to all be watching this video in the past week. And since that's roughly the number of stars in the Milky Way galaxy, and most stars have planets... hey, it could be true! Or if you're thinking aliens unlikely, then we just need each human to be so fascinated by the video that they watched it 100 billion times... last week. So let's see, that would be ~ 10^11 / (7*24*60*60) --> viewing it one million times per second. Pretty short video.)
