He hasn't been throwing picks because he's taking sacks instead. 3. He has a great receiving core, though I assume his OL isn't great. Either way, he needs to be quicker with decision making. 4. Is he bad? By all means, no, he's actually very talented, he just needs a couple years to discipline himself, and learn what teamwork means. Developing players is becoming a lost art and that's going to come back and bit the league in its behind.

Someone needs to talk to him and tell him he's DONE if he ever walks off the field moping again !! Really. That's a horrible signal to send to your teammates.
Yup and he got rid of good players that could have helped the team better and now they’re playing great elsewhere. So yes he needs to be shown the door also at the end of the season.
Thus far into his career, Caleb Williams reminds me of characters in a sci-fi horror flick who desperately try to run away from pissed-off, hungry, nimble-footed monsters that crave human flesh.
What the hell are they thinking? Why would they not attempt a 57 yard field goal? Not to mention the last play of the game the pass wasn’t even near the end zone. 😂🤦
the bears kicker sucks bro… he’s accurate between from 10-55 yards but as soon as you pass 55 yards, it looks like he’s attempting an 80 yarder… he’s great from short, but you won’t make in the NFL if your kicker can’t even attempt a 60 yarder
Just shows how football really is a team sport. Caleb thinking him just being on the field will flip the franchise and they would become relevant because of him. (Our punter won't be punting much). I knew right then his ego was going to be the biggest issue, so this is exactly what he needed. He needed this first season to open his eyes and get knocked off his pedestal. Many prospects that are normally outstanding players don't get the time it takes to be who they are because of the situations they fall or draft into. Most become great players due to the coaching and players around them and not their own ability. It takes the others to showcase their abilities and without those others you could very easily become another J. Fields.
Everyone is to blame here...QB could've played better, O-line was terrible, bad play calling and time management. Imo they should've drafted Jayden Daniels instead. Wouldn't have much more success, but seeing how he's been playing this year for the Commanders, it's clear he deserved to be the #1 pick. Caleb hasn't shown much of anything this year but he has potential, if he wasn't a stubborn cocky narcissist
@purplehaze1464 They already had a QB, could've used their draft capital on building a rock solid O-line for the future, but went groundhog's day instead. Rinse-repeat in three years.
Well, so much for the #1 QB draft in NFL. It doesn't matter whether the Bears got no HC. There's absolutely no excuse for Caleb Williams to play that poorly at home field. He's turning out to be yet another overrated and overhyped #1 draft pick QB that is a bust.
I did not see the game. I thought all coaches everywhere claim to put the players into the best situations to succeed. I see none of this here. Poor Caleb is continually running for his life. The Seahawks defense is having a feast. Is there no running game? Awful. There looks like enough blame for everybody and not the rookie QB.
As a Packer fan I had been amused by the Bears annual implosion. But, now it's at a point that it's like watching puppies get hit by a dump truck. Cringeworthy indeed.
I know it was pretty much a given that Brown wouldn’t be named permanent head coach after this season, but you would think if the Bears liked him they’d at least ball out a little more to send a message to ownership. Instead they’ve been abysmal since he took over. Wonder what this will do to his coaching career.
As a Commanders fan I just want to thank the Bears for drafting Caleb first. Having said that, I feel bad for Caleb. He got drafted by a pretty dysfunctional organization. Again, as a Commanders/Redskins fan who survived the Dan Snyder era, I know all about dysfunctional organizations. The last thing a rookie QB needs is instability at the HC and OC position. Doesn't do a new QB any good to keep having to learn new systems.
Bears fans love Caleb and see his potential. He isn’t the problem in Chicago. The owners have been terrible and fans were chanting sell the team. Caleb wasn’t being booed it was the bears as a whole
There was a time not sooo long ago where teams whould not start rookie QBs… nowadays they throw them right into the deep end! ….it’s literally sink or swim! 😂
I had the opportunity to watch Caleb at USC. A generational talent. With that said, the NFL is a different animal. As someone already stated in the comments, it can be humbling for many. Only time will tell if he can adjust and continue to develop. On a side note, I watched the game last night-- first one I've seen this year. The offensive line for the Bears appears to be in bad shape and the play calling was poor. The Seahawks were consistently blitzing on 3rd and 5+ yards to go, but the Bears failed to adjust. Deep drop, Caleb running for his life, sack or throw the ball away. It played out over and over last night. Their running game wasn't terrible, but they continued to put Caleb in a bad position. I mean could you really do worse than scoring 3 points by leaning on the running game? Seattle wasn't exactly tearing it up last night.
i kept telling bears fans on off season keep the hype level down this is not college ....but what they end up doing starting smack talking under my comments calling me green bay Detroit Minnesota fan and how much they going to take the nfc north now look what happens i dont feel bad for bears fans
@@thomasjgour4678 You can’t even spell, it’s number*, also he had the highest potential out of them. Only other case that could be argued is Daniel’s that’s it.
Poor Caleb. Every pundit exclained how great he would be. I know it's his first year, but he has not been what they ALL said that he would be. Average at best. Maybe in time? Time will tell. Bring on 2025'.
Wooooooow I’m not a bears fan, but I wish Caleb get out of there. Almost every play he’s running for his life. I can’t believe he made it through a whole season. Also remind me again who was the last good QB in Chicago? Maybe it’s not the quarterback… just saying.
The Bears and the Jets both have legendary Super Bowl victories. Who would have thought the price for them would be to never win another one and lifetimes of mediocre QB and overall play in general? I mean seriously, Caleb going 9.99 games without throwing an interception is the greatest feat by a quarterback for the Bears in almost 40 years.
Williams is what most people that weren't fanboys were saying he was going to be, average NFL QB. One of the biggest things I noticed was when he was running with the ball and was 1 yard from the first down marker and he ran out of bounds avoiding a tackle rather than try to muscle his way through the tackle for the first down. But not solely his fault. Play calling and clock management was terrible at the end.
@@AnthonyMercado-1988 Then why is it that the Bears haven't drafted a good QB since Sid Luckman? In the time since I've moved here, I've seen Rex Grossman, Mitchell Trubisky, and now this kid go in the tank. In the meantime, Green Bay went from Favre to Rodgers to Love. Someone seems to know what they're doing.
DAAA BEARS WERE ONE WIN AWAY FROM PLAYOFF SPOT LAST SEASON. GAVE FIELDS AWAY FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. THEN DRAFT THIS CLOWN .... GREAT JOB BEARS. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Fans can dissect Willam’s game all they want. Fact is he has been sacked 60 plus times this year (sure some are on him.), lack of a quality running game, and coaches that seem lost during the game. Fields made the OL look better than it was last year because of his running ability. After they fired Flus this team just gave up and it looks like they are in full tank mode. This free agency and draft better be focused on building the OL cause CW can’t be sacked another 60 plus times.
The Bears started out the year with promising results. At one point every NFC North team was above .500, even the Bears. Back then people were calling Caleb Williams the future. Then the implosion began. Caleb Williams went from the future to the guy getting booed. However one player is not the only person who caused this mess. There are many other factors that caused the collapse of this team's performance. For one you can't expect a rookie quarterback to come in straight out of college and immediately be a superstar. The NFL is NOT the NCAA. Teams are stacked with much better talented players. Their defenses are much better, their secondaries are much better and are far more advanced. The Packers have had their last two quarterbacks become Hall of Fame players, and their latest quarterback looks to be following the same kind of path. The big difference between them is that the Packers didn't draft their QB and immediately put them in the starting lineup. Favre got to learn a couple of years before an Injury to Don Majikowski brought him into the starting spot. Aaron Rodgers learned from Brett Favre for a while before he took over as well. And now Jordan Love learned from Aaron Rodgers for a few years before he took over. Many quarterbacks have been immediately placed in the Starting quarterback spot and most of them are no longer playing or starting anymore. Ryan Leaf and Todd Marinavich are two more examples of top draft picks that never made it past their first couple of years. Caleb Williams could be headed for this too if the Bears don't do something to fix this situation.
Had two receivers in the area of that last pass that seemed disinterested in going after the ball! Usually they have no urgency for only the first half. This was an entire game. Nobody really wanted to score a td. Surprised fans come out for this.
What i dont understand is why, with 2 timeouts remaing, the bears didn't run the ball and get in field goal range first. If time remained they could have tried for the big play. But get in field goal range first.

Yup and he got rid of good players that could have helped the team better and now they’re playing great elsewhere. So yes he needs to be shown the door also at the end of the season.
Your so 100%RIGHT!!!
going for a starting tackle in the top of the draft...
@ even if they win out the rest of the year they’re still going to have that opportunity.
the bears kicker sucks bro… he’s accurate between from 10-55 yards but as soon as you pass 55 yards, it looks like he’s attempting an 80 yarder… he’s great from short, but you won’t make in the NFL if your kicker can’t even attempt a 60 yarder
@ 😆 I understand. But we’re talking about the Bears here, I think the odds would’ve been better trying to tie the game. 🤣
@@Maynardd A poor kicker in a rainstorm with a saturated field? Sorry, no.
About time his interception streak ended-he overthrows every one and he does short safe throws behind the line of scrimmage-way overrated
They should trade him to Vegas for Maxx Crosby.
Fields.
It’s going to be funny when Chicago loses him and he does well on a decent football team.
Too much for Caleb! Put him on the bench! Rebuild the team and let him compete for position next year!
Sheduer! This is your future!
Hey, let's throw a rookie QB behind a crap O-line & see what happens...
Rinse-repeat in three years.
bears were told not to take him , he sucks , happy for chicago
Well, so much for the #1 QB draft in NFL. It doesn't matter whether the Bears got no HC. There's absolutely no excuse for Caleb Williams to play that poorly at home field. He's turning out to be yet another overrated and overhyped #1 draft pick QB that is a bust.
The same play on the field got the coach fired. So the QB sucks and you fire the interim coach too? 🤔
You don't know football and it shows
I did not see the game. I thought all coaches everywhere claim to put the players into the best situations to succeed. I see none of this here. Poor Caleb is continually running for his life. The Seahawks defense is having a feast. Is there no running game? Awful. There looks like enough blame for everybody and not the rookie QB.
I'm a lion fan I don't think he a bust I think he will figure it out he talented but I'm am glad fields is gone I think he would had beat us
I knew he would be a bust 😂
I said before they drafted him.

Bro as a packers fan watching the bears kick their own ass every year...I didn't think it could get much worse.
As a Packer fan I had been amused by the Bears annual implosion. But, now it's at a point that it's like watching puppies get hit by a dump truck. Cringeworthy indeed.
The worst QB we have ever had on the bears kick him loose. 0:57
How's Mitch Trubisky's career going? 🤔🤭😆🤣😂
Lol
NFL Defensive backs can see what's coming. He's just green
I know it was pretty much a given that Brown wouldn’t be named permanent head coach after this season, but you would think if the Bears liked him they’d at least ball out a little more to send a message to ownership. Instead they’ve been abysmal since he took over. Wonder what this will do to his coaching career.
A fan of punting loved this game.
Caleb to punter: You won't be punting much this year
@@enjoyitbrohis punter doesn’t believe a word he says anymore 😭
As a Commanders fan I just want to thank the Bears for drafting Caleb first. Having said that, I feel bad for Caleb. He got drafted by a pretty dysfunctional organization. Again, as a Commanders/Redskins fan who survived the Dan Snyder era, I know all about dysfunctional organizations. The last thing a rookie QB needs is instability at the HC and OC position. Doesn't do a new QB any good to keep having to learn new systems.
Ryan poles drafted a guy who wears nail polish. 😂😂😂😂
Chicago opinion of him sure changed through this year. He went from God to worthless just like that.
Bears fans love Caleb and see his potential. He isn’t the problem in Chicago. The owners have been terrible and fans were chanting sell the team. Caleb wasn’t being booed it was the bears as a whole
Dude is horrible. ZERO talent.
The players who should have been booed are the offensive line.
What excuse will Colin Cowherd make for his son Caleb on the Colin's show today.
During the bears hard knocks they thought they had another Lamar Jackson 😅
His mom is working OT this year
Maybe these teams should spend more money on their offensive lines and not give QB's 50 mil a year.
And another reason why I don’t watch Thursday night football. Horrible games
Well we have 2 more on Friday.
I thought it was impossible to fail with how stacked they made their offense just for this guy...
Vegas knew what they were doing with that 3.5 point spread . Couldn’t believe the Seahawks couldn’t score one td
Felt like I was watching the 1985 Bears against the 2014 Seahawks. A defensive masterpiece.
The entire team deserved to get booed… This ain’t even close to being all on Caleb
The defense gave up 6 points you want them to play offense too?
@ Well to be fair Seahawks offence also played like crap but yea defence seems to be the least of the Bears worries
They weren’t booing Caleb. They’re booing the entire organization as a whole.
@@AttilatheThrillaumm Bears defense made Seahawks look bad lol. Offense didn’t show up once again
#FireEverybody
We were booing the coaching and the owners, I was at the game and everyone was chanting “SELL THE TEAM” and how they waisted 2 of there 3 timeouts
WOKE CHICAGO
Caleb booed?? We’re lucky to have Caleb. The coaches are calling stupid plays, botching the clock management AGAIN.
This is the NEW DEI hire coach. 😂
@brian6speed just because a black person gets a job, doesn't make it DEI.

What? Isn't this the same guy who said his team won't need a punter because they will be scoring on every drive?
Bagent for QB…… agree with the comments!! Could see that early on!!

I fell asleep right before the game came on... Thank goodness!
Wait, I thought he said they wouldn't be punting much??
Poor Caleb. Every pundit exclained how great he would be. I know it's his first year, but he has not been what they ALL said that he would be. Average at best. Maybe in time? Time will tell. Bring on 2025'.
I had the Bears winning the division before the season started. lmaooo 💀💀
One of those games I am sure I slept through at least a quarter.
Is it safe to say williams is a bust?
Wooooooow I’m not a bears fan, but I wish Caleb get out of there. Almost every play he’s running for his life. I can’t believe he made it through a whole season. Also remind me again who was the last good QB in Chicago?
Maybe it’s not the quarterback… just saying.
Seahawk fan here, the most entertaining part of this game was when they cut away to the Bears fans in the stands.
Bears could have drafted Bo Nix at number one pick. Williams is truly a baffling pick
::a wild Pete Carroll appears::
Play calling and clock management was terrible at the end.
hey Kirk are u gonna put these two teams in the same league with indiana university
Glad they passed on Jalen Carter, Fly eagle fly.
It could be worse Bears fans... at least you don't have Bryce Young
Bryce young would be a better fit
Caleb Williams is a rookie; blaming him for everything that’s going wrong with this team is messed up.
Cut the guy some freaking slack.
This is not a team with a great history of developing QB's.
The Seahawks sacking Williams 6+ times was +600 on DraftKings. Thanks Bears! 💰
Not Caleb's fault, his OL couldn't block a group of ants coming straight at a potato chip
He was not a first round draft pick based on his 2023 college season. Privilege.
Hard to block for a scared QB who has wants to take off running at any hint of pressure.
@@alphatrion4365This is the truth. But nobody will acknowledge that!
@alphatrion4365
Do you see last night's game? He didn't even have time to drop back before the defense was all over him
The NFL should make sure neither of these teams gets a nationally televised game next year.
This game was emblematic of the NFL (No Football League) this year.
What i dont understand is why, with 2 timeouts remaing, the bears didn't run the ball and get in field goal range first. If time remained they could have tried for the big play. But get in field goal range first.
