Thank you! As a new hunter this is invaluable. This information should be available on the manufacture’s website. It dumbfounds me how little information is available on a manufacturer’s website. Even when I’ve reached out with questions, the responses are sorely lacking in usable info. So Thank you for doing their job and explaining their products!
Great video! Question: how does this jacket/pant block the wind?? Understand it’s meant for the 30-40 degree range; but if the wind is blowing even at 7-10 mph (not too hard) at those temps you’ll freeze in a Treestand for 3/4 hours without keeping the wind off of you.
It all depends on what you're doing with it. The Divergent is significantly heavier and built for colder weather so it's a lot warmer. For late season & cold I like the Divergent. For mid-season sits or windy days, the Saddle Hunter is really nice.
runs a little big but not bad, it is a monster of a coat, I am an xxlt and could have gotten a xl if I only had a one layer for my base. For me the thumb loops don't really work because of my longer arms, but I am glad they incorporated them so it seems like it fits me. I am 6' 2" 270. Haven't used in field yet, I am hoping it blocks wind. Seems like it will be s quiet fabric and is replacing my puffy coat because of noise for deer hunting. I didn't get the pants and decided to het the Hydrotherm bibs, because of the zipper goes full length and had matching camo pattern and they were on sale, hope I like them.
You need full leg zippers I walk 2 miles to my stands pack my pants in and the half zipper will not go over my rubber boots with out taking them the boots off first

They have the divergent listed as a warmer garment than the fortress.
Good review! Thanks for being professional.
This sounds awesome!! But I just bought all my new SKRE Solace gear for next year and absolutely love it 👍🏽🔥

It doesn't necessarily keep the wind off of you, but the fabric and insulation used, stops the wind from getting to your body under the coat.
Would you recomended this over the saddle hunter set from scentlock?

Can you do this for Drake, Legendary, and some of the other major manufacturers?
