Differentiation between fantasy and reality, the mental separation of fantasy topics from the real to the point they cease being the same topic. It's why one's interests in fictional stuff doesn't necessarily determine anything about their interest in topics in reality, since those topics should be separated to the point they're not seen as the same topic at all. Drawn characters are objects, not people. It's when overlap shows that we can start to form questions, if we can find signs of projection, deflection, etc... and this is where all of Vaush's past statements come into play.
