I have to say this is by far one of the best run-throughs of Twister OS and its many features to date. I highly recommend this video for anyone new to Twister OS, and even seasoned veterans!
Thanks for the great feedback, and for putting together what must surely be one of the best operating systems available for the Raspberry Pi.
Twister is easily the Best OS on the pi. It could use a little updating on the pinebook pro. That's probably an armbian thing.
Thanks for this very comprehensive yet "efficient" introduction and demonstration of Twister on R.P.4.
I "stumbled over" this video but couldn't stop watching, it must have been an absolute gargantuan amount of work to create, but it shows in the result.
Best regards.
Yes, it did take a little while to put together, but they do say that Rome wasn't built in a day! Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)
Pi Labs a zillion thanks to you and your partner for creating and fine tuning it.
Both of your work will bring MANY FROM WINDOWS TO LINUX AT A FASTER PACE! (My wife is one already!). Most Humble Appreciation!
Without doubt this is one of the most comprehensive video walkthroughs I have ever seen on anything. You just gave me the final nudge to get myself another Pi 4 to play with the Twister OS.
Thanks very much. You can never have too many Pis :)
Just found this Chanel yesterday. Your video tutorials are 100%, well presented and info packed. Loved the Nextcloud, Amahi and OMV tutorials (I don't have a Pi). Have subscribed and thumbs up to all watched. Hope for more videos soon.
Thanks for the encouraging feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.
well done bro! Most exhaustive review and tutorial combo I have ever seen on any OS ever! I am an old geek from way back and even learned a few new things I did not know. :)
Thank you, much appreciated. Great to be able to teach an old geek a few new tricks!
Extensive setup video that any one can use as a guide to setup their own gear. Very wide range of applications demonstrated with key hints. However, Ms Word can open ODF files and we should encourage it's use by just giving ODF files to others and have them experience Ms Word opening it. It has changed a few people I know of their perception of Ms Word and the file format scenario.
Best 'how to' video I've ever watched. More like 'how to use a computer' than 'use Twister OS on a Raspberry Pi'. I salute the herculean effort involved.
Thanks very much. Nice of you to say so.
I've been using Pis since the beginning, but had never heard of Twister.. This video was great.. I'll have to give it a shot!
Thank you. Enjoy using Twister OS!
YES ! This is the best tutorial I have seen so far for this OS on PI4.
Thank you, much appreciated :)
This is a brilliant tutorial on Twister. thought it was a basic OS till i watched this. excellent work. subscribed
It's definitely my favourite operating system for the Raspberry Pi :) Thanks for subscribing.
Very informative video!! Thanks for taking the time to make it 👍 I've got a pi 4 8gb coming today.
Not a problem. Nice one, enjoy your 8GB Pi 4 :)
A Brilliant explanation of how things work.
Well done I will be looking at your other stuff.
Thanks very much. I hope you find the videos helpful :)
I just discovered your channel thanks to the mysterious algorithm of RUclips. I was looking for “parkour” sport examples.
The Pi 4+ 8GB is the single board computer that I use. Nothing special but interesting. So I decided to watch your video and it is very good. I learned stuff I never saw before or didn’t know existed. It is really a shame you don’t have more subs. You truly deserve them. You do put a lot of effort in your videos.
For the coming days I know what videos to I’m going to watch.
Regarding your amount of subscribers. Maybe you could watch some videos on how to optimise your front page, your title and your comments for RUclips’s algorithm and on how to attract viewers. I don’t want to criticise your work. It works for me 100% but I was darned lucky to end here.
Can’t wait for your new videos and I want to thank you for the work and time you put into your videos. Take care and kind regards from a new subscriber from Belgium . 🇧🇪 Again, thank you 😊!
Wow, now that's what I call feedback. I'm glad you managed to find my channel, despite RUclips's mysterious algorithm!
I've literally just purchased a Pi 4 8GB - it's my third Pi 4, following a 2GB and 4GB model respectively - so it will most likely put in an appearance in a future video at some point.
It's great to hear that my videos are being viewed in Belgium. International stardom at last! Thanks for taking the time to leave such a detailed comment, much appreciated.
Best wishes :)
Great detailed instructions! Twister with the Mac theme has become my fulltime. I only use Windows for printing. I'm going to try out your print trick for my Canon mfc.
You're welcome. I would imagine the Windows 10 and Mac themes will be the most popular options on Twister OS. I hope your printing goes well.
thanks for posting it my fav os now for my Raspberry Pi 4
You're welcome. Yes, it's incredible how much the Pi has advanced since it was first introduced, and Twister OS is a great way to get more out of it.
Extremely informative. One of the best videos of the Pi4 I've seen to date.
Thanks very much. I try my best.
AMAZING ! Everyithing works Problem is sloved Thank you!!
Great to hear!
wow great video! would recommend to everyone using twisterOS!
Thank you. Your feedback is much appreciated.
Really enjoyed watching this thanks for this video I will probably use it as a reference in the future now that I watched it completely.
Thanks for your feedback. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the video.
Awesome instructional video it was easy to follow and mission accomplished. Thanks for your time.
No problem. Glad you found it useful :)
i've tried ubunut 21.04, Manjaro and even the basic Raspian....spent 3 days trying to get things to run on my Pi4 with zoom. After giving up 10 times...I found your video and have decided this is the way to move forward given I was hoping to use my pi4 as a portable daily driver. Thanks for such an awesome video. Sincerely grateful. During this journey ive learned more than I ever though about Sudo this and Pamac or Pacman that lol
You're welcome. It certainly sounds like you've been trying a few distros! You'll soon be a Linux guru at this rate :)
I had to join your channel after watching your excellent review of the pi 4 you certainly sold it to me and twister was awsome that was a very good review so thank you so much I enjoyed it all and all that without annoying music that some RUclipsrs seem to think they should cover up their voices with and no ear blaster to start, you are very good but then you are English so that could explain it Bob in the UK
Ta very much. It's good to hear that you're giving the Raspberry Pi and Twister OS a go :) Thanks for subscribing.
@@MrBobWareham Good old Microsoft! I've always said they're the best sales representative Linux could ever have. It's Xubuntu that you want to start with to install Twister UI:

Probably the best tutorial I've seen.
Blimey that's quite the compliment! Thanks very much :)
Brilliant form start to end, thank you for doing this. Twister is a great fun OS and this is a great way to set it up although I have done it on a 128gb Micro SD everything so far still runs really well. Interesting point - I downloaded Twister V2 and set it up on a Pi400. All was great until I switched to Win 10 mode. It did its reboot and all I got was a black and white flashing screen. Rebooting got me no where just the same screen. Put it in a Rasp 4b and it booted into Win 10 with no issues so swapped it back to Twister OS and it works on the 400 again.
You're welcome :) What a bizarre situation with your Pi 400 and Twister OS. I've not heard of anyone else experiencing this issue, but unfortunately I don't have a Pi 400 to test. Anyway, I'm glad that putting the microSD card in the Pi 4 and then swapping back to the Pi 400 solved the problem. Thanks for your feedback.
Thank You very mutch for this video !
You are most welcome. Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you! Very helpful.
You're welcome. Thanks for your feedback :)
Thanks for an excellent video, I am now going to reduce the power used from my old pc and convert to a pi 4.
No problem. Sounds like a plan :)
brilliant video, i feel much more confident in giving it a go now
Go for it, it's well worth taking this OS for a spin (pun intended)! Thanks for your feedback.
@@bytemypi2918 I cant believe I haven't found your channel before but I'm glad I have now. thanks for the reply and I'm going for a spin now
@Byte My Pi Hii mate ! I wanna thank you very much . Recently I got my Pi and was looking for a complete OS which can fulfill my needs as I have to switch from windows to linux directly ! Thanks to RUclips it suggests me this video, now I'm convinced to use Twister OS ! thank you very much, love form India .
that's a really nice looking xfce desktop
Yes, it's an impressive OS, is it not :)
such a great video, It made me search and download twister! hope python works like in raspos best regards, and thanks for the video
Fantastic - hopefully another Twister OS convert then! It's based on Raspberry Pi OS so you should be fine with Python. Thanks for the feedback :)
For months I saved a micro sd card with raspos. No need. It's a complete replacement. 3 pi4's running Twister OS, even got my PiBoy to run it. Hilarious little desktop with a cell phone hotspot.
Yes, it's my favourite Raspberry Pi operating system as well :)
I haven't even received my Raspberry Pi 4 yet but I'm gonna be running this one out of the box when it arrives in the mail. 😅
It's a good choice :) Thanks for your feedback.
Great video this, think I will start using Twister OS looks great ;)
Thank you. Yes, I highly recommend giving Twister OS a go!
@@bytemypi2918 going to put it on my boys pi400 as well :)
@@ruffnutts A Pi 400 - that's posh. Lucky them.
Quite a comprehensive overview of a great OS flavour. The only thing that was odd was your upspeak; it was kinda like listening to a British version of a California Valley Girl accent where every sentence is spoken as a question. Might want to work on that.
Useful tip for Linux users that might stumble into too large program windows that doesn't fit your resolution. If you don't want or can't change resolution and you can't ie. see bottom confirmation/next etc. button that you know that is down there, but not visible. Do following: Press left Alt key and drag wanted window. This way you can grab where ever of the window and move it past UI borders. This works on pretty much on all of the UI's for Linux.
That's a great tip! Thanks for posting :)
Great video! What I lately discovered was, that you can also run TwisterOS on a Ubuntu driven PC what would mean no speed problems with gaming and emulation. Would it be possible to investigate this in a video like this one with the Raspberry 4? I think this would be very interesting for the community, too. Thank you for this wonderful video!
You're most welcome. Yes, I saw that Twister OS had an x86 compatible version available. I believe that, unlike the Raspberry Pi release, you have to start with a base operating system first (as you rightly say, Xubuntu - apparently you can use Linux Mint as well, in its XFCE edition), and then install the Twister OS package on top of it.
It's probably a bit soon to be looking at Twister OS again right now - even on a different base. Plus, I have several ideas for the next few videos I'm trying to create. That said, it could well be worth revisiting Twister OS in this form at some point in the future.
Thanks for your feedback. Much appreciated.
Excellent coverage... Would be much more great if this fabulous OS is availabe for PC also.... Thanks for the Exposure..,
My pleasure. Twister OS is available for PC, but (unlike the Pi version) unfortunately it's not supplied as a downloadable image. Instead you install it on top of an existing Linux Operating System, which makes the process a little less straight forward. I've already had a viewer enquire about the possibility of a set up video for this. Unsurprisingly, Twister OS seems to be rapidly growing in popularity. Now that I've received a couple of comments regarding putting it on a PC/laptop, I may cover this sooner than originally planned - so stay tuned! Thanks for your feedback.
Great video, on the part for getting the hash, there is no need to dl another program in PS you can use Get-FileHash -Algorithm md5 FILE_NAME or in cmd prompt CERTUTIL -hashfile FILE_NAME md5
Thanks for your feedback. I didn't realise PowerShell had native support for file hashing - good to know :)
I am new to pi and glad i found your video, very informative. I watched some of twister os tutorials but i will say your video is the BEST!! ... Now I know i can boot on usb.... one question can i use any ssd hard drive or usb stick to install my twister os?
Thanks for such positive praise. I'm glad you found the video helpful. In answer to your query, you should be able to use most external SSD drives or USB sticks with Twister OS on the Pi. That said, I have read that some people have experienced issues with certain hardware. Stick with a decent brand - something like Samsung or Kingston - and you should be fine, or if you want to chance something a bit cheaper, I've had good results with TCSUNBOW.
@@bytemypi2918 Thank you very much for your quick reply... I subscribed your channel and looking forward for more of your video on pi...

If you prefer bite-sized chunks, I've started adding timestamps in the video description so you can quickly access each section. Thanks for your feedback.
Yes, I got that, And that's what I do. It has to be one of the best distros. for the Pi Any chance of doing one on getting Bluetooth on a Pi.?Mouse and Keyboards that is and the easiest way to do it.
If you're trying to add a bluetooth device to Twister OS, it should be fairly straightforward. Look in "Settings" and open the "Bluetooth Manager". From there, click "Search" and, providing the bluetooth device in question is set to discoverable mode, it should appear within a few seconds. Once it's visible, select it and click "Setup". This will open the "Bluetooth device setup assistant", which is a wizard to help us make the connection. Choose "Pair Device" and click "Next". If it's a keyboard or mouse that you're connecting, go with "Human Interface Device Service (HID)". Finally, click "Next" again and you should be good to go :)
@@bytemypi2918 It might be to you as a tech person, but some of us are nontech people; like myself.
Great video, you mentioned you used Thunderbird , I too use this on a mac, but in the version i'm using Thunderbird 78, Do you know how to move the account to a different computer ?
Thanks for the encouraging comment. Assuming you're using IMAP, setting up Thunderbird as shown in the video will give you access to all of your existing emails.
If you want to migrate any additional data (for example, your contacts), you'll need to copy Thunderbird's Profile folder.
There's a handy article on how to do this on Mozilla's own support site:

@@bytemypi2918 Migrate, That was what i was trying to say, thank you as currently i use a mac have done since windows xp, like the look of the arm macs, but them there are all my folders in thunderbird, don't want to lose them
Yes, you don't want to be having to recreate everything you've already set up. Glad I could help.
Excellent video. Do you know of any way to get window 'snapping' to work? It's the one (perhaps only?) feature of MS Windows that I miss most.
Windows 'snapping' should be turned on by default. If it's not working, check in "Window Manager" within "Settings" on the "Advanced" tab that "Windows snapping - To screen borders" is ticked. Hope that helps :)
Obviously I have a lot of reasons for liking your videos, but one thing you might consider is adjusting the volume on your "intro" that you splice into each video. It is a LOT louder than the usual microphone volume when you are doing your videos. The word Startling comes to mind... LOL. BTW I am a subscriber, also.
Thanks for subscribing. Hopefully you've noticed in my more recent videos I've adjusted the audio. Unfortunately there's no way of doing this on RUclips for those already published. Perhaps ear plugs would be a good idea if watching older content!
@@bytemypi2918 Thanks for the prompt response. Your videos are top notch.
@@jim7smith You're welcome :)
aif you have the raspberry pi 400 (the one that looks like a keyboard) remember to plus your screen into the port to the left of the sd card
If you're lucky enough to have a Pi 400, plugging the micro hdmi connector into the port closest to the micro SD card slot is a good set-up tip. Thanks for letting people know.
Very very good.
But do you really need to install Cheese if you already have vlc which can show the image from your camera?
But more important - which way you've got so perfect screen capture?
You don't need to install "Cheese", but I like the name when you're taking a picture from your camera!
I use a cost effective HDMI capture device that I picked up on Amazon. It's called "HDMI to USB C USB3.0 Video Capture Type C Capture Device with 3.5mm Audio for Windows/Linux/Mac STB Game Recording PS4 HDMI Capture". It appears that they still sell it, if you'd like to take a look.
Thanks for your feedback.

I like your movie, but I suspect the Great&Terrible M$ will not be so calm than Twister OS uses so many copyright icons & themes.
@@eugenesmirnov252 Yes, I doubt Microsoft would be too pleased with it, but they only seem interested in cloud services these days. I don't capture video on to the Pi itself, but run its HDMI output into my desktop PC - trying to process it all on the Pi may be a little too much for the tiny PC!

Q. What is minimum requirement to install and run following packages + can raspberry pi zero be used for this purpose?
a) apache webserver
b) mysql server
c) mongoDB
d) php / perl
Thanks very much, that's quite the compliment. The LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack itself doesn't require much in the way of resources at all. It's more about what you intend to run using this set up. For example, a Pi Zero will run LAMP quite happily, and can be very useful for testing purposes. However, if you were hoping to run something like Nextcloud and want multiple users to comfortably access the system simultaneously, you'd probably want hardware with a little more horsepower (unless you want lots of users, a Pi 4 should be more than up to the job). Often the biggest limitation of the Pi Zero is the 512MB of RAM (and the fact that it's only a single core CPU). I hope this answers your questions and helps you choose which device to use.
@@bytemypi2918 It is a pleasure seeing that quick reply. Dear sir, I provide 100% free professional trainings and what we have been planning here is [free] supply of really low cost hardware to people who want to learn programming [especially web development]; that is the reason I was querying about low cost hardware as we will have to provide to many members.
I will have to experiment with different hardware to decide what will be minimum requirement.
Thank a lot [again] for your kind response.

Needed a web browsing demo. Netflix amazon.youtube.even live streaming for sports NBA.nfl.soccer. how about the media player to play video files etc. Just to compare if they pass or fail
The default Chromium web browser should take care of most of your streaming needs. You could also use the RUclips web app if you prefer. VLC Media player (which is also included in Twister OS) usually plays anything you throw at it, or there's Kodi if you'd sooner go the whole hog with a complete media centre.
once the pi gets to versions 5 or 6 or 7, this could be the future to drop Windows for good.
If the Pi keeps developing at the current rate it could well be a drop-in replacement for many computer systems in future.
Try Ubuntu. You can drop Windows already!
Great video; just wondering what would be GPU Memory setting in Performance on 8GB Pi. Appreciate feedback
I'd go with 512MB for the GPU. You won't see much difference above this, and it will just eat into your available RAM. Thanks for your feedback :)
512 works fine on mine. With gpu o/c as high as 950. I have a decent aluminum case with fans. More stable from 875 - 925. 8Gb one definitely o/c better than my 2 4Gb ones. 2250 stable for arm_freq, will do 2300 tho.
I've never been a big overclocker, but it's nice to have the option.
@@bytemypi2918 Here's the way I see overclocking on the Pi4. 1. overclocking the pi4 makes it a nicer experience to use. 2. I've overclocked the entire time I've owned each Pi4, 3 of them. Each one took a little more OC than the last and the OS's changed to allow the OC's. 3 The Foundation itself did the overclock on the PI400, so if you wanted to be safe about it OC under what the Pi foundation itself OC's. Base that on the model you have too. So, my earliest Pi4 will not do 2300. It will do 2100-2200, happily, all the time, depending on the OS and cooling. 4. Depending on the OS, Twister OS OC all the way is fine. Android 9 and 11 work better OC to 2000 no matter the model.
5. It's a waste not to OC for retro gaming and desktop stuff like watching RUclips.
If one of my Pi4's ever blows up I'll just get another and still OC. I usually OC fresh installs before the first run, so I don't have to watch it go slow ever.
If you're the nervous type with OC, go slow incremental, run it for awhile with the settings, see what it does with games or heavy tasks. Then push it harder til it cuts out and then back it off, or adjust over_voltage and try again. Make sure you have more than one card with a working OS in case it won't boot on a setting.
@@pgtmr2713 Well if even the Raspberry Pi Foundation are overclocking the Pi there must be something in it. It certainly sounds like you have a lot of experience tuning them up.
is it necessary to plug in the ethernet cable because i dont have a router nearby and i only have wireless connection :(.

in newer version of imager there is no option of eeprom boot recovery... :(
As you've discovered, the Imager has indeed been updated - the joys of technology! Don't panic though, what you require is still there, it's just been renamed. When you've opened the new Raspberry Pi Imager, select "Misc utility images", then "Bootloader", and finally "USB Boot". From there, proceed as before. This will make sure your Pi is able to boot from an external USB (SSD) drive. Hope that helps.
thanks
No problem :)
i've screen tearing problem on Yt and netflix, is any chance to fix it?
I haven't personally noticed any screen tearing, but I'll try and suggest some potential fixes. First, check that you're running the latest version of Twister OS: Application menu - System - Twister OS Patcher. Note. In the latest version of Twister OS (2.0.1), Chromium Media Edition has been removed, as it's no longer needed since the standard Chromium browser now has native Widevine support.
If that doesn't help, open the Terminal (Application menu - System - Xfce Terminal) and type:
sudo raspi-config
From the menu that opens, navigate to "Advanced Options", then to "GL Driver. From there, select the "G2 GL" driver and then "OK". Next navigate back into "Advanced Options" and this time into "Compositor". When it asks if you would like to enable the "xcompmgr manager" select "No" and then "OK". From there choose "Finish" and then type "sudo reboot" (without the quotes) and press Enter to restart the Pi.
Hopefully this will help with the issue you're having :)
Just had a look at their website. Unless I am missing something, it appears that they only have 32 bits versions instead of 64 for the Rpi 4...
No, you're not missing anything. The official Raspberry Pi OS that Twisted OS is based on is also 32 bit. Apparently a 64 bit version is in the works but it's not completely stable yet.
@@bytemypi2918 Ok tx! 👨💻 That could explain my issues with Rpi 4 on Fedora 34 for a bit. First the update after the initial install broke the touchscreen functionality, no screen no touch. I filed a bug report about that and that got an "Orphan" status. Then I looked into it myself and found out that some updated rpi 4 binaries in the /boot/efi directory were causing this, so I resetted those, and that fixed the problem. See here : bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1954182
But next, after the latest update to also the 5.12.x kernel the touchscreen and USB functionality are broken again... so no screen and no keyboard... Resetting "upstream-Rp4" to "upstream" in /boot/efi/config.txt fixes the touchscreen again but the USB problem appears to be kernel related because booting kernel 5.11 x restores the USB...
So I was kind of wondering where all this is coming from, and nobody is responding neither on Fedora and the Raspberry pi forum.. So if this all depends on the Raspberry Pi foundation binaries where as you say the 64 bit version is not stable yet, that could explain this....
My wifi just stopped working after I updated it and rebooted. I already know about how far away it can be and being in a case can shortness the wrong. But iv being using this set for a while now and it only did this after the reboot.. Is this tutorial out of date already?
Are you running the full version of Twister OS? I know there were a few issues recently with the Lite edition, but I've not heard of any other problems. If it was working before the update, I'd try a fresh install as it sounds as though something went awry during the update procedure.
@@bytemypi2918 thats what I was thinking as it didn't give me all the thems shown in the video. I know it was full version but i did flash it before the new update and just now got around to pop it in my pi. Its strange cuz it simply doesn't show my houses wifi single. It shows my neighbors and my phones hot spot but not myn even though on initial setup it was what I connected to and DL the update. Hopefully it well work it self out with a reflash.
@@Lando00100 That is strange. Fingers crossed it works after the reflash :)
i haven't had any luck with my pi wifi/ethernet. i'm gonna research a bit longer and back to the channel ........;( almost forgot the eweb gives no sound on youtube (?)
Are you using the full version of Twister OS? Apparently there have been a few issues with Twister OS Lite recently.
@@bytemypi2918 i am, i did not get the lite version. Temp is 38/45 max. Can i blame the hdmi/audio/power board? I'll check the argon i also have..... somewhere
@@morenoglager There's definitely something strange going on. The web browser's sound should work out of the box. I'd try running "sudo raspi-config" (without the quotes) in the Terminal and checking in "System Options - Audio" that the sound is set to "HDMI 1". Failing that, I'd try a fresh install of Twister OS - even downloading it again, in case there's any file corruption going on. By the way, I like Argon cases, but I did have a faulty one once.
@@bytemypi2918 ok I'll do that
The "ondemand" plugin does not appear on the Windows 11 Theme. Any idea how can this be added?
Right click on an empty part of the taskbar, select 'Panel' and then 'Add New Items'. In the window that opens, locate 'CPU Frequency Monitor' and select it. Then click on 'Add'. Finally click 'Close'. You should now have an icon on the taskbar. Hope that helps :)
@@bytemypi2918 you are a master!

is it my android avaliable only through usb cable not wireless??
Hi, I think the way 'My Android' is set up, it requires a USB cable between the Pi and the Android device. However, 'scrcpy' (the tool it uses behind the scenes) supports TCP/IP, so if you were to give the Android device a static IP, and run the program directly (e.g. by writing a short shell script), it should be possible to make a wireless connection.
If you'd like to investigate more about what's possible with scrcpy, it's worth taking a look at the github repository:
github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
There's even a wireless section on the linked page!
Good luck :)
pi-apps has a better zoom installer in my opinion.
Yes, it's great how many different choices you have in Twister OS, but I still quite like the old-school ncurses type of interface in PiKISS.
How to remove steam and dosbox from twister os??? Please help
If you install Synaptic using the following command:
sudo apt install synaptic
You should then be able to open this easy to use package manager and search for the programs you want to remove.
Hope that helps :)
watching this on he pi400 running twister OS
Fantastic!
Can Twister OS be used on an old Laptop computer?
It certainly can! You really want at least 1GB RAM (more is better) and a 64-bit CPU and you should be good to go :) Remember to try the live version of Xubuntu first, to check that everything works before making any changes to your laptop.
Music is a tad loud.
How do i remove the start up Sound ?
Thk
Hi, to disable the start up sound, first open "Settings", then "Session and Startup". Next, click the "Application Autostart" tab and untick the "Logon" entry in the list. Finally, click "Close". The next time you boot Twister OS, it should start in silence. Hope that helps.

It worked, thank you very much 😃👍
I have a 8gb ram raspberry pi so how much gpu memory should I set ?
8GB, I'm jealous! I'd try setting the GPU memory to 1024MB. You won't see any benefit going higher than that - in fact, it may actually decrease the performance.
@@bytemypi2918 Ok then should I set it to 512 only ?
@@RPI_Arduinotronics 512MB should be fine. I don't think you'll see much improvement by using 1024MB. You could always try each one in turn and compare. Hope that helps.
@@bytemypi2918 Ok, thank you, In this video you covered everything like how to use retropie and etc. You made a 1 hour 6 minutes video, I have also subscribed your channel

for me on my rpi i use ubuntu mate
Another good distro :)
Great video! Turn down the intro music please? 🙉
Thanks for your feedback. I've adjusted the audio levels in my latest videos, but unfortunately RUclips's editing tools for already published videos are very limited.
@@bytemypi2918 Awesome, keep em coming!
Why some guys whisper in their videos all the time and append an overwhelming volume music in between?
WOW that music is a LOT LOUDER than your voice.. please consider your subscriber's ears!
I've already adjusted the sound levels in my latest video, but obviously this won't help with previously published content and unfortunately RUclips's post-editing tools are virtually non-existent.
I'm surprised anyone uses MD5.
The music volume was way louder than your voice.
If you'd like to watch one of my newer videos, I've now rectified this. Unfortunately RUclips does not facilitate editing audio within already published content.
Manjaro runs much better as a daily driver
a brummy voice i hear!
Close but no cigar - definitely Midlands though :)
A quick before you get started
Turn that damn music down or get multi channel regulator to balance the sound. Quiet intro and then ears blasted off by music intro. Really..
You can do all that on a cheap Chromebook... And it has a screen and batteries. Myself I prefer Windows. Let me tell you, Linux sucks. Unless you have a desire to spend a long time learning to code, you want nothing to do with it. Buy my PI 4 on eBay...
Linux isn't for everyone, but then neither is Windows. That's the great thing about computers - choice :)
