Notre Dame IS an AAU member. So are the ACC schools: Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, Duke, Pitt, Cal, Stanford. And in the Big XII, the AAU members are Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State.

FSU to the SEC would be a bold move for them. They would be trading any chance of being relevant on the field for a paycheck. They think they are in the Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan group. They are in the Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee group at best.

Without that paycheck it puts all FSU athletic programs in jeopardy. FSU has better tradition, brand, recruiting base than majority of the SEC

You sound stupid. Do you realize Florida St 3X National Champions . The history and tradition is there for Florida St. FSU always been a national powerhouse since late 80’s.

Here's a simple solution. Just disband the ACC, have Florida State and Clemson (plus Miami, Georgia Tech, and all four North Carolina schools) go to the SEC, have both Virginia schools, Louisville, Pitt, Syracuse, and Boston College go to the B1G, and have Cal, Stanford, and SMU go to the Big XII.

If Clemson and Florida State leaves the ACC, there's no way the SEC always for the B1G to leave a footprint in SEC territory

Everyone has been saying Clemson and Florida State are getting out of the ACC "soon" for what seems like the last 18 months. What b.s. Right now, it appears as though the two schools and the conference prefer to fight it out in court, which may drag this thing on for at least another 18 months. This "soon" stuff is so much click bait.

SEC fans are so high off their own stink it’s hilarious. “Would they even WANT FSU?” Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Missouri and South Carolina are all worse brands than FSU. When we have a competent coach we’re a top 10 program every year. It’s just silly to think both sides wouldn’t benefit. The reality is you don’t want FSU because it’s another potential loss and you would rather beat up on Vandy.

In the Big 12. FSU got beat by Georgia 63-3. TCU got beat 65-7 in the 2023 national championship game. FSU cannot demand Big 10 money ($60 million) with a Big 12 result. The same with Clemson. Every single the Buckeyes beat Clemson in the 2020 playoff semi-finals, no ACC has returned to the playoffs drying up the money. Neither one are serious moneymakers so off to the Big 12 you go.

“ThEy GoT bEaT 63-3😛” really dude? 10 draft picks opting out? 12 total that ended up on NFL

BigTen Conference what a joke. I laugh at the BigTen. BigTen makes the most money on top of that the most schools that lack the speed bunch of slow pokes schools up north
