I am not sure where this is originally from, however a-ha diary lists that early snippets of the Take On Me video were aired in America as part of an MTV program called "Video Music Play Off Awards" and on the Dutch show Countdown alongside an interview with director Steve Barron. If you have a copy of either of these please contact me.
