Helldivers 2 cant even be pirated. It requires to be online at all times to be played, which means there isnt a way to bypass the drm. Even if there is a way to download the game, you still wouldnt be able to connect to the servers.

It always is between 65% to 80% PC players, not even in release date I saw the numbers to be close to 50-50, PC players always have been majority in Helldivers 2.

Unfortunately until Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima are relisted in as many countries as was possible before, I am taking Sony's word as deceptive. I think they may not plan on forcing players to link to a PSN account for now, but since the game is still delisted in most of the world, and since then they have delisted it and GoT in more countries, they seemed to not really have learned anything. There's no telling, in a year or two they may force it again when they think it will be accepted like how Bethesda did for paid mods. So basically I think going forward they may just choose to not sell in most countries that lack the ability to use PSN rather than not force it. GoT shows this likely future since the game has a perfectly playable offline single player that shouldn't theoretically need a PSN account to play. The most telling part is that one of the countries that it is not available in on Steam is Japan, in that case because of microtransactions during the multiplayer. Really if they want to have microtransactions they should have just released the multiplayer as a free to play game instead of tying it to the single player game, that way people could play it without worrying about needing a PSN account. But it seems Sony doesn't care enough to do that and seem to think that the microtransactions make it worth it to not sell in most countries.

Isn’t this the guy who got blasted for harassing a kid’s YT channel online a while back? In any case there is far too much of this behaviour. Many pc players also have consoles for various reasons. Shilling for a brand paying you is one thing, but too many are shilling for having made the choice to purchase a product. It’s pretty weird.

Unfortunately until Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima are relisted in as many countries as was possible before, I am taking Sony's word as deceptive. I think they may not plan on forcing players to link to a PSN account for now, but since the game is still delisted in most of the world, and since then they have delisted it and GoT in more countries, they seemed to not really have learned anything. There's no telling, in a year or two they may force it again when they think it will be accepted like how Bethesda did for paid mods.
So basically I think going forward they may just choose to not sell in most countries that lack the ability to use PSN rather than not force it. GoT shows this likely future since the game has a perfectly playable offline single player that shouldn't theoretically need a PSN account to play. The most telling part is that one of the countries that it is not available in on Steam is Japan, in that case because of microtransactions during the multiplayer.
Really if they want to have microtransactions they should have just released the multiplayer as a free to play game instead of tying it to the single player game, that way people could play it without worrying about needing a PSN account. But it seems Sony doesn't care enough to do that and seem to think that the microtransactions make it worth it to not sell in most countries.
20:25 ehhhhhhhh I'll say it but yeeeah sometimes us PC gamers CAN be some entitled pieces of shit when it comes to ports and have turned the word "optimization" into a buzzword without knowing how that works. Or if a game doesn't every graphic setting under the sun, even if it runs well across different hardware setups, it's garbage. Or when a game like say Persona 5 Royal is released on PC they're bitching why it's not $20...
