You mentioned going through a book. What book is that? I just bought my Solaris Vision two weeks ago after having a computerized Pfaff for 30 years. It's quite a change! I have the Solaris Inspiration Guide book, which is a great book, kind of like a manual.
When I got my Solaris 3 last year, I went on eBay and searched for the instruction manual and found people who have printed what's in the machine. There are 3 bound books... one for sewing, one for embroidery, and one that shows all the designs. I love having them. I can make notes in them and study them, etc. I think they cost about $50 or $60 for all 3 last year. I am willing to bet there are people still selling them today. There was more than one person selling them when I found mine. Good luck!!
