Its not only due to the borderline uncanny valley cutscenes,but something about the first 2 emergency games makes them extremly eerie. Am I the only one who thinks so?
I think the graphics of the first 2 games are really timless in my opinion I just love that graphical style^^ In gameplay I mean, the cutscenes really are uncanny^^
The scenes really help you get to the mood of the commander dealing with the disaster. And it's does it very good to the point I got scared as a kid with emergency 3 first mission

Geil war auch wenn man die Autos leer aus der Basis losgeschickt hat und am Einsatzort erst das Dilemma bemerkt hatte :D hatte das Spiel damals in Holland gekauft und es war nur in niederländisch spielbar, hörte sich sehr lustig an
This was a good game, but the cinematics were kind of cheap. Some of them didn't even match up with their scenarios. The bombing mission involved three court houses, yet the movie shows a poorly-animated skyscraper. The sinking cruise ship was named Esther, yet the movie shows Bluestar. Major inconsistency there.
@HeatCliffHQ XP? Win 7? XP - Run in compatibility mode for 98 / 95 , Windows 7 Cannot run it at all. I am sorry if you have windows 7.. but yes.. this is the game that got me into the Emergency Saga..
i bought emregency 1 like 6 years ago but didnt know how to play intill another month.i still have emergency 1 and have emrgency 3.#4 is a bit complicated
@Jazz4YourSoul I got Windows 7 on My laptop and vista n my desktop. They both work but the game shuts down after the sixth level on my desktop and the graphics are really mis-colored on my laptop. I also can't find out how to beat the 7th level XD
