Computer science is a foundational field that covers a wide range of topics, including AI. It may be that AI is only a small part of the degree program and is covered only briefly or very superficially. If you want to focus more on a specialized and promising area, I would choose AI. However, if you are also interested in the fundamentals of computer science and computer systems design, you may want to consider a computer science degree. Ultimately, it depends on your goals and interests.
