My biggest concern was that there would be a “stigma” love the advice, thank you!
The video I’ve been waiting for!!
tysm im thinking of applying ed to barnard next year so ive been binging videos! the weird comments made me paranoid tbh
I think it depends on how you define 'part of'. Barnard is an affiliated college of Columbia University, but it is not equivalent to Columbia. Barnard has independence on its own finance, admission and curriculum.
Columbia University consists of 4 schools:
Barnard
Columbia College
Columbia SEAS
Columbia GS
hunchoz hunchoz look at the Columbia website. Barnard is listed as a school of Columbia
Ummm the acceptance rate is ten percent higher because only girls can apply.... they get half the applicants so the rejections don’t make it the same percent as Columbia.
Columbia has 22 schools. You missed all graduate graduate schools.
4 undergraduate colleges. Other than that Columbia as a plethora of grad schools, such as the law school, the business school, the college of physicians or the teacher's college.
Awww I'm gonna miss these
This is so helpful, thank you!
you're so welcome! feel free to check out our other Barnard/Columbia vids, and subscribe! :)

Barnard should mind their own business and stay away from Columbia. Barnard is not Columbia and it’s harder to get into Columbia. They should not let Barnard students share Columbia campus . Columbia is IVY league and Barnard is not. Stop going thru the backdoor…
Tell us how you really feel! Lolll
That is so disrespectful. You're not better than everyone else.
BYEE THIS HAS TO BE A JOKE ... barnard IS columbia. when you get your degree, you get it from both barnard college AND columbia university. it is one of the undergraduate colleges of columbia university. columbia college is ALSO an undergraduate college at columbia university. columbia university is huge - know the difference
@@nicolelin4598 yes i agree that the above comment is disrespectful however, barnard IS NOT columbia, it is not THE columbia with a 4% acceptance rate, it has a close association, share resources and is an undergrad college. when you get ur diploma it will say BARNARD and COLUMBIA, not COLUMBIA alone. barnard is great but it is obviously not as competitive as columbia, so it always annoys me when barnard kids say we go to columbia, perhaps they should say they go to barnard which is apart of columbia...it has an affiliation of columbia but it is NOT THE columbia, the ivy league, the 4% acceptance rate.
