Afan Whites Level

The final trail from our week in Afan and possibly one of the best trails there.
“Designed as a super challenging XC trail for skilled singletrack lovers, White’s is all about snaking climbs, tight tree sections and the rocky drops of the final ‘Darkside’ descent. Big bike riders get an optional black run descent as reward for slogging to the top of ‘Windy Point’ too.”
This 15.2km trail is the most technical of all in Afan Forest Park and is 90% purpose-built singletrack. With two options as your finishing descent - it’s a great trail to ride twice.
A 6km sheep-track climb gives fantastic views of the Afan Valley, extreme exposure on tight singletrack means ultimate thrills and long, demanding descents with rocky steps to negotiate, all leading to one outrageous trail.

Glad you enjoyed it! 😁 it is a nice trail, with a little of everything thrown in. The switchback climb is a killer though. Be sure to check out Blade, if you're after a more advanced descent.
