Just wondering. Would it be worth surrounding the apu with thermal paste to try and keep the liquid metal from spilling out? Even just a cheap thermal paste.

Hi Phil why do you not try to change the bios chip or program it. I saw on TDR channel before he fixed it long pulsing blue light of death woth programming bios chip. Maybe it is corrupted. It is easey to try not. Regards Steve from Belgium

Earlier at the beginning, you did put some liquid metal on that chip to as you say, be a cheap skate. Do they still do Bankss down there

hello I had a problem with my ps5 so I think I have a blod it flashes, impossible to put it in safe mode it turns off directly and of course no signal on the TV and I noticed that my front and rear USB ports don't give an idea please?

Try plugging the fan in? Weirder things have happened with consoles, especially PlayStations

No, something on the board is expecting the matching disc device (I assume the APU since he said that in the video) and if it doesn't find that, it apparently doesn't let you update the system software. It doesn't just turn into a digital version.

If you are selling parts from these boards, how do you know the parts are working? Isn't this the reason you MUST repair these boards first so you can test them?
Is there not a way to check chips and the like are working without restoring the whole motherboard back to complete working order? There must be or that would be brutal.
I take diode readings and compare them against working chips before taking them from the board and if they don't match a known good board I don't use them :)

I mean half of the 15 boards not half the chips you sell. That sounded wrong.
@@TheCod3r diode readings alone cant decide the full functionality of a chip especially chips with multiple legs, there are lots of inner microcompressed components that may not be direct connection to the legs youre probing. for fets, regulators, caps, diodes, resistors are some of what you can do that way. Im not discrediting your method, you do great videos otherwise.
