If Harry did a 24 hour livestream walking around car auctions like this, I wouldn't be able to switch off for the entire 24 hours - so enjoyable, thank you Harry (and team).
Absolutely! With you there. He could make a film about a pile of sand and I would watch it 😁 A master of his art! Keeping me sane at the moment. Brilliant.
Regarding the Ford Granada 3.0 Coupe not being on sale in the UK, I was reading from Silverstone Auctions description notes at the time and I believe a manual 3.0 Coupe was not available in the UK, as the Granda Coupe was sold in the UK but only as a 3.0 Ghia (auto only) model. Then when I got to the Mercedes SLS, I've no idea why I said the engine was a twin-turbo when it's NA 6.3litre V8 and is one of the best things about the car. Can't get everything right!
HI Harry. I'm not a Ford man but these were built in Germany . My late uncle bought one when they first became available. Which was strange he sold his Shadow to buy it!!
The HK 500 is the one to buy easy project, but cant see why you think it needs 50k spending on it, im in the trade, a set of borrani wheels not cheap, but paint work is just time, headlining is cheap, think the fire damage was not the car, but something near by
I distantly remember seeing a few Ford Granada coupes in the late 70s, but it's a car I had largely forgotten about - not having seen one for over 40 years! Great to see one again.
A few comments in one, as there are so many things to say about this great video: - "full service history, can't find it right now." I've heard that one before, multiple times... - in Germany the Borgward Isabella Coupé (3:35) is often regarded as 'the' beautiful 'Wirtschaftswunder' car. - to me, the Continental R (and T) is the ultimate car., perhaps the future dream weekend car for me. - I agree with your sentiment on the DB9, it's such a timeless design. - While I have my eyes set on a C126, every time I see an R129 I am rather intrigued by it. - As a 'Jaguar man', I adore the XJS (especially the post 1991 ones)
17:00 the story about the unrestricted SL 55 AMG doing 325 km/h (202 mph) in the AMS supertest is quite famous in German circles. The test car was actually factory-tuned to nearly 600 PS (the standard version had 476 PS). It also broke down after the test, don't remember the exact cause of failure though.
Was elated when I saw this new video on my feed!! Love your videos Harry My picks are the E30 M3 Rallye car and the Alpina B9 3.5 (Alpina M5). I could watch a full hr easily if you desire to extend the previews. 30min or so is simply not enough!!
The Citroen Amy is from the Aude department judging by the 11 on the licence plate thought I suspect it's been out of France some years as the plate format changed about 12 years ago. The Granada coupe is an interesting one, it was body style that was sold by Ford UK, but not in big numbers. The South Africans were lucky, they could get the Perana version with a 302cu inch V8.

Fantastically eclectic choices Harry. Hugely entertaining and huge thanks! The E9 and E28 almost produced trouser accidents, as I'm hunting for a manual M535i as a daily driver for a while. As others have said, you're keeping many of us sane at the moment! ;)
Th eone thing I do immediately after watching EACH & EVERY one of these auction previews by Harry is to hop straight over to the website - just to dream!!
Bit skint at the moment Harry on furlough, got anything around the £500 niker Mark perhaps a multiple owner bit of rust and blue smoke be fine cheers 🤣💪
Several things became clear in this video: 1) JK has an amazing car collection. 2) If left unattended, Harry would walk away owning 90% of the cars he sees. 3) I would basically live in a warehouse, sleep on a sleeping bag, wear nothing but white tshirt, eat canned tuna & own a bunch of these cars.
Thanks for this, always a joy to watch. Cool cars, enthusiasm and ace presentation. And btw. you need to buy the Facel Vega, bring it to Tyrrell and we can have the best from two ace youtubers.
Now now Harry, the mk1 Granada coupe was a UK car. That particular version is south african, meaning it is more rot free, slightly different interior trim and - because of this spec - is the desirable manual.
Bring home that gorgeous E28 Alpina... !!! *sigh* I love it as much as you do... especially in that incredible colour scheme... I once owned a manual E28 535iS and I miss it dearly
Hi Harry, with the Duetto showing as sold on The Hairpin website, I’m really hoping you’ll add one of Jay Kay’s cars to your garage... the M3 is a lot of car for the guide, but despite the miles it just has to be the E28.

My aunt had an Ami - drove it well into the 70's until her foot went through the floor. She would bomb around small French B-roads at extremely high speeds (top speed, pretty sure) which probably gave me my life-long lead foot....
The green RS had a lot of money spent on it at Porsche Centre Tonbridge They went through it front to back.. It is a very nice car. It went to Le Mans Classic with us a few years ago and never missed a beat. Really looks the part.
So happy to see a new HG video pop up this morning- that RR Corniche seems a great value (unless I’m really missing something about the condition). Most of the examples I see range from £40-70k. If the world were a more normal place these days, I’d probably have registered to bid!
Wow, real gems in there this time. Citroen Ami is a funny one, love the Facel Vega & Maserati Merak. Also nice to see 360 & SL55 sitting together, they were from the same period, brings back some good memories! Even the green R129 they definitely grow on me at the moment...
The Ford Granada Coupe was all over the place in Denmark in the 70s. I had a 2.3 two door, but not coupe. Turned it upside down after two weeks of ownership and that, as they say, was that!

"Go find another!" is becoming synonymous with Harry's auction preview vids :) Love it .
Some really lovely cars there but I would have that E28 Alpina in a heartbeat.
Me too!
tempting money too!
