- Опубликовано: 27 сен 2024
- Skies of Arcadia continues, as we get caught up in the royal drama of Yafutoma, kicking off a desperate escape from the city, and the biggest battle in the skies we've ever seen...
Skies of Arcadia is tragically completely unavailable to purchase on any currently existing store, and was also never released on PC. If you want to play it yourself, your options are the GameCube and Dreamcast versions, which were the only releases. Sorry.

The blatantly evil looking fellows turned out to be evil, who would have thought.
"Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"
Haha subtlty wouldn't work with Skies
(29:10) Jon. Jon! If Vyse is using Skull Shield, they other party members don't need to guard; they can focus instead to generate even more spirit points.
Having negative perception stat keeps you from noticing things like this
Vigoro's ship and the Delphinus effectively taking turns punching each other in the face isn't what I expected from this fight, but I really should have. I was hoping he'd meet a bit more of a definitive end here, but oh well. Maybe Aika can still get her personal revenge in now.
I just love the Vigoro ship fight - it's so perfect for his personality.
I like how vigoro's cannon is a pistol, complete with sights as if they'd be useful for anything
the sights are backward tho.
Backwards sights. Also, his ship could hold only a handful of rounds. Not much staying power, our Vigoro.
@@Taolan8472 That also seems thematically appropriate, somehow.
I do appreciate how much Skies of Arcadia is exploring its own concept. Boarding actions on your own ship, the scaling up of events as war goes on, the themed ship designs. It's just nice to see.
Vyse is there on the dock tapping his foot as if to say "Get on with it."
I mean he is a cool blue protagonist of a SEGA game.
Jon, don't forget about your crew orders. Can't you fill your spirit level?
I was thinking the same thing.
I've been following since FO3 YOLO, it's been great watching you and you've introduced me to so many games that I never would have played otherwise!
Can't wait for Friday to see the conclusion to this massive arial battle.
Can't wait who is about to leave the party this episode!
*Drachma has left the party*
Oh, so not only is Yafutoma fantasy Japan, they even have their own Divine Wind protecting their "shores". Though it's a fun Giga idea, instead of just the usual big strong guy.
They made some very fun Gigas designs I think. The purple one is pretty clever!
Hello you have been a subscription of mine for years. I love your tone and language unlike others your just a joy away from the real world thank for your work
Vigoro would have done better if his engineers had put the sights on the right way round.
The notch goes to the rear, and the post to the front.
Jon's mispronounciations of all these clearly Japanese/Asian names in Yafutoma really hurts at times 😂
Especially Daigo.
They're Southern
I like that Mao clearly says, "for you to die!" and it translates to "for us to finish you!"
Honestly I like the translation
The Draco's cannon can't use physical shells unless the crew lives inside hollowed-out ammo like some sort of shipping container hobo camp. Anime logic at its finest.
The moon makes ammo for the gun. Don't worry about it.
Seems rather appropriate for Vigoro to focus on size, and ignore staying power and basic practicality.
@@shotgunshells2 Surely you mean the cannon fires moons :P
Viggoro is definitely componsating for something with that ship
Vigero being like "My cannon brings all the boys to the battlefield, and they're like, it's bigger than yours, damn right"
I love how his cannon is literally just a giant magnum
I admit I’m a bit confused why the crew is so aggressively hunting for the Moon Crystals - the point is to keep them out of Valua’s hands - this one was sealed at the bottom of a sacred mountain right next to the Yafutoman capital - the Valuans would have had to conquer Yafutoma to start searching for it, and at that point, having conquered more than half the world, how much more damage would them having a Giga even do? Instead the gang wrecks the temple guardians and seizes the crystal… and just carries four of them on board their ship which regularly fights Valuans - they already got captured and only kept two crystals from falling into Valuan hands because Enrique defected, this seems like a bad plan
Ive got work in the morning but i must watch
Omg what a great cliffhanger 😩 I can’t wait for the next episode!!
I have a feeling that Jon won't be using it much but to everyone else: the last green AoE spell, Nox I think, hits all enemies and if they are green weak and don't have a ton of magic resist they can take A LOT of damage, basically a room clearer for chaff enemies plus it can poison. Also at 37:00 when the Draco fight begins, Jon could have used the new crew member to max out the spirit like he was talking about earlier.. That would be 3 or so moonstone cannon blasts.
If you haven't checked out the Skies of Arcadia OCRemix album you should, it's banger after banger.
Somehow... Belleza has returned
So Daigo is Simba/Hamlet and the twins are Timon and Pumba/Rosencrantz and Guildenstern? Hakuna Matata?
That cliffhanger! Darn you Jon, darn you
Jon! Jon, Jon, Jon, for a thoroughly bloody nice chap, you can be an utter bastard sometimes!!!! No, not a cliffhanger!!!!
i screamed when he said next time😓
@@sneeze_organ Yes! You get it!!!
This whole area is reminding me of Jade Empire.
Here's hoping that it will be on the channel one day
26:43
Why does that CANNON have a sliding breach?!?! XD
I really wish the Paradox brothers spoke in rhymes
Someone doens't need to construct additional pylons huh? ;-p
(I love the swans in the background :-) ).
And yet u didn't max out your magic power with that women thats the one job she has
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I am so invested in this!😂
Aarrrgh! Cliffhanger!! :)
I really wish you’d cover more of the game per episode. I love the long series but I’m guessing they would do much better if you cut out a little bit more but play through more of the story. Either way, love the game and series!
Finally said giga...🤣🤣🤣
RImworld anyone?
Day 134 of requesting Age of Mythology - a full playthrough if possible.
How can it be the symbol of royal succession if it's been in a dormant volcano for years? If you don't need it present to have a monarchy, then sending it with Vyse shouldn't be a big issue.
Is this series killing the channel?
First again!
I hope Jon will be cast as a narrator like in the Stanley Parable at some point in his career.
The enthusiasm he has during this entire series is so infectious
It'd be brilliant to see him attempting to cut down the "cocking hell" and "yes indeed" on a blooper track!
Aika is truly one of the characters of all time, i think she's so funny
Hmm A very Oriental ruler claiming that divine (blue) winds will blow the enemies away. In Japanese, that translates to kamikaze.
Kangan is a smart cookie. The obvious plot armor of Vyse will prevail.
tbh I don't know why it took me several episodes to realize the ship is called "Delphinus" because it's crown prince's (In French tradition - dauphin, because they literally had dolphins on their coat of arms) personal flagship. Maybe cause I always assumed Valua are mostly based off the Spanish.
Its nearly the exact same word in Spanish, and flows better: Delfin
Ah, that explains it. I was wondering why a vaguely whale-inspired ship was named after a dolphin.
No hedgehogs on Vigoro's big... cannon ?
It's weird that belleza and vigoro didn't really acknowledge Enrique was traveling with Vyse and crew. You'd think theyd say something to him about it
This is the shipping episode
Ah yes Vigoro
Another exciting episode!
Wait, if the prince took command of the Tenkou why did they attack you when you first arrived? He clearly stated that he was keeping them from going round attacking everybody so do they only sometimes follow his orders? Or did he mean that they don't attack people nearly as much as they used to?
I assume he doesn't have complete control over them since the traders seem a bit afraid of them still. I would assume he probably has them restricted to the bare minimum amount of raiding but there's always the possibility that he simply didn't provide instructions regarding foreigners.
Muraji seems like the kind of successor that the Valuan Empress wished she had
Enrique got that Rizz
Day 159/1230 of requesting Jon play a game nobody will remember, like Majesty: A Fantasy Kingdom Sim.
Day 60 of requesting Jon play Okami HD
